Little Willie, mean as hell, Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter."

t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. [Every now and then he went out to a fishing hole and fished for a bit with Morgana. He wonders if this cat would like sushi as much as Morgana does.]

Four months is a long time. [He never thought he'd go into a dimensional wormhole and come out the other end getting stuck. First time for everything.] Has anyone been here longer?

[He sighs, anyway, looking Ryan over. It's clear now, from how he's standing, that Guren is holding an empty jar in one of his hands. Apparently he'd wound back to his house just to pick up one of these again. Last time he went alone, though, he worried Dextera, so...]

Why don't I give you a crash course? Have you gone on your laptop yet?

[Sidon really needs a filter sometimes, but he just nods to himself silently before looking back at the Hyrulean.]

Then you must know more about where we are then. Which part of the kingdom is it? I've never been in this land before...[He stops to look back at the house he was leaning on.] I felt this strange connection to this place...I'm not even sure if I can go in but...

[He stops.]

If there is a body of water, I would be glad to know of it! I haven't explored much yet. You would have Prince Sidon's greatest thanks!

[She'll be a little easier on him though, thanks okubeans] That depends on a number of things -- like, if you're able to defend yourself if kidnapped by monsters, or if you make too many friends and end up getting sick because they get kidnapped... How confident are you in your skills?

[This is mainly just bluster, but it's fine. If she doesn't admit she's kind of freaked out, she won't be.]

[He's hanging back from the water, not quite willing to go near it, and keeps his arms wrapped around himself.]

But somehow this is even worse.

1. gone fishin'

[ Both the chill and water pooled around their legs were both unnoticed by Phos when they'd immediately pushed themselves up from the bottom of the well on their alloy. But- well, there's a pretty loud resounding of complaints down there, huh? Whoops.

Feeling a little sheepish for just scrambling out and leaving people behind, Phos peers over the edge slowly, staring back into the steep darkness. Which is how they find themselves angled over the ledge rather precariously, in a fashion more accommodating for the way they're now dangling their arms over the inside. Anyone else in this situation is an ally, yeah? ]

Hey-!! If you're down there, I'm dropping a net..! Climb in and I'll pull you up!

[ And by net, they mean the thick globs of golden alloy that make up their arms, currently webbing itself together into resembling something net-like on its descent.

Be rescued, y/n? ]

2. curiosity killed the cat

[ But seeing as Phos is no cat, and surprisingly unharmed from the well fiasco, their curiosity eventually guides them into Flavo. Wandering into one of the small buildings there, Phos notes that it's very much a living space and, apparently, theirs. But the flat object they find on one of the desks clamors for their attention more than anything else, and they pick it up with great hope it'll offer them some kind of explanation or way of getting home.

..only to find they have absolutely no idea what it is. So they'll be wandering around, alternating between turning it over in their hands, folding it open and closed, and shaking it as they walk— complaining loudly all the while. ]

Come on! There's no way you aren't useful for something.

3. wildcard

[ Obligatory "anywhere else you want them to be/choose your own adventure" option. Phos is nosy and curious, so anything goes. Hit me up at heita for any plotting.

[ zelda at the moment is by the board, setting up her posting, making sure it sticks right and doesn't fall off. she hears someone walking near but pays them no mind... that is until she feels a distinct feeling off water gliding past her boots. ]

Hm? [ she turns away from the board and there is kohaku right beside, drenched. ] Oh no. You poor girl, did you just come out of the well?

This month is "collect honey from bees", "fight fairies", "ruin someone's day", and "form new bonds". Guren forbid us all from doin' the day ruinin' one, but I doubt many people were super into it...well, Okuni seemed to want to pull pranks on people, but like, I don't count that as "serious".

[While the staff obstruction doesn't appear to bother Sasuke all that much, he does stop when it comes out to point him down.

For a moment, he peers at her with a hawkish black eye, the only one visible.] Sasuke. [And then, just like that, he hilariously turns to keep on walking.

She hadn't asked for anything but his name, listen!!]

[Okuni's not used to interacting with small children beyond tying them up upside down in trees while their parents screech in fear below... Still, Kisa is already a little different from the regular Oumi child, who'd probably throw a rock at Okuni since she's the Devil.

She brushes herself off, shaking her head!!]

Well, it looks like you didn't do that on purpose, so I guess I can forgive you. [HMMM, GRACIOUS. It looks like Okuni's not paying any attention to Kisa, though it's mostly on purpose to get Kisa to look less Afraid.] You can help me gather these flowers as an apology.

[WHY DOES KISA NEED TO DO THAT!! but anyway, all the flowers are colorful and harmless, Okuni's picking up the more suspicious looking mushrooms and roots herself]

[To be fair, he guesses he should have gone over this, but he had assumed for a moment that Yuu might have the common sense to figure that out. He feels silly now. At the very least, his anger drops at the apologetic expression, and he steps inside the rest of the way.]

Put the knives back, you already have a sword. [What are you, Edward Scissorhands?] We can go look for it.

[bingo, bingo, levy wins the prize, etc. sadie looks their surroundings over before gesturing toward the woods with the staff.]

[It would figure that it's at the water that he finds her again. There's a certain sort of symmetry to it that Minato isn't thinking about, but nonetheless exists--

But what he's thinking about is how did he miss her? Sure, there were more people in the well than expected, and he had to put out a fire in his house, but--

... Well, it doesn't matter now. What matters is that Aigis is here, and Minato... has missed her so, so badly.

(He made mistakes with Ryoji and Mitsuru before, not telling them his apologies, not telling them how much they all meant to him when he had the time to do so.

He can't make that mistake again.)

He approaches, posture laughably casual considering the circumstances, his hands in his pockets as ever--and quietly:]

... Yeah, it is, a little. It's not safe, anyway.

[ if she's taken aback by that (and she is) it doesn't show. zelda is accustomed to strong personalities, both here and back home. she doubts the girl means any ill will, given the circumstances. ]

Hm. My recordings are off by some days... it should be coming up to four months now.

Perhaps you can find something to aid me at the surface! I should be able to climb a rope and if there as more water down here I might be able to give myself enough of a boost to jump out, but alas. Maybe if I was a Rito...

[Honestly he has no idea, but he's trying to be positive.]

Guren takes a step back at the transformation, his hand grabbing at his sword like he intends to draw it— but he doesn't have to. It's just some lady, looking bored, and now he's confused. Therianthropy? Those red eyes, though...]

Most people I meet aren't hanging around as a bat. Who are you?

[ good hylia, it - it is him! she flusters for a moment, trying to think of what to say after making such a blurt out of his name. he must not remember her, of course not he was just a child, but - but oh no. ]

She's still a little confused, but comprehension mostly dawns on her face when Levy says she's a normal human.... WHO'S A MAGE AND WHO'S PART OF A GUILD FOUNDED BY A FAIRY!! Okuni wants to ask about this!!! but first]
