t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. i: well this just won't do

[ the well doesn't remain dark for long, at least in a nebulous rp timeline where you interact with levy mcgarden. within seconds the word "LIGHT" appears in the air, the letters made of shining white light, her forefinger still glowing from where she'd sketched the word into existence.

and once she sees where they are, well...

the word LADDER appears, stood up on the end of the L and stretching to the top of the well. there are handholds all along it, as the word itself is made of ladders, albeit oddly shaped ones to hold the word. ]

- There! Don't worry, it'll hold.

[ she puts her hands on her hips, looking upwards. levy's...pretty short, so she's a little more in the water than is entirely fun. ]

ii: dry it off

[ since she's still wet once she's out, levy continues to use her sort of versatile skillset to send WIND at herself, blowing her dry (and almost lifting her off her feet but nO ONE SAW THAT, RIGHT,,, ) and then settling back down. she's perfectly happy to use the skill on anyone else, although she pauses outside of the well and sends out the word TOWEL.

like her other words, it's made up of what it is...so a bunch of towels now exist, although they're shaped like the letters in the word. so. that's what it is. ]

iii: fairies ota

[ if you happen to catch her later in the month, levy has ascertained that she is blue (cool, her hair is blue and this is easy) and that there are quests to be done. as she usually does quests but doesn't have shadow gear around to do them with her, or lucy, she's looking for partners...

namely, she simply puts up a post on the questboard asking for assistance. if you're responding to that handwaved request or simply happen by the nearest-to-bluo woods entrance, you can join her! please join her. she's dressed pretty casually and seems to be reading a book.

iv: bees open to reds!

[ similarly, she puts up a request for a red partner and will meet them at the well, reading as she waits. please to be adventuring with her? ]

Which, considering the lady who had turned into a bat or something earlier, shouldn't be too shocking, but she's definitely looking startled. ]

She has a lot of questions about how she just wrote towels into existence, but lucky for Levy, Kisa isn't voicing any of them. Instead, she's tentatively inching closer and reaching for a towel-- pausing only to quickly bob her head gratefully. ]

[ nothing happens when she takes the towel! except for some towely drying action, obviously. levy smiles back at the head bob. ]

[So Minato definitely noticed the new laptops hanging around--which was pretty excited. New roommates? New roommates. He didn't have a ton of time to think about it, though, since he had to put out a sudden and out of nowhere fire in the front doorway (sorry about the singe marks on the ground there), and then head on over to the well.

It's probably a lot of shenanigans and missing each other somehow in this small town, but he's been trying to poke his head back in to see if they made it there so he could help out, and sure enough...

Eventually, he gets lucky!

[ roommate #1 (or #2) is a rather short girl with blue hair. minato is no longer alone in the blue hair club in his house, isn't he blessed. she's pretty normal looking otherwise, in fairly casual modern-ish clothes, although a mark is on the back of her shoulder, visible with a halter top which she tends to wear because of that i assume. ]

[Roommate #2 definitely looks like a vampire, with his red, black and gold color scheme, the way he seems to have elf ears, and the cape around his shoulders. He got in... apparently without an invitation.

Despite that, he seems busy, tearing open a crate to find... sardines. Canned sardines are better than no sardines but they don't have the blood Val really needs. Sure they have all their nutrients, but this just won't do.]

Is this your house as well, lad? I found these sardines here.
