Intro Log.

It's raining, it's pouring.
The old man is snoring.
He bumped his head and went to bed
And he couldn't get up in the morning.

ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light.

It looks like a long trip upwards, a small cylinder with walls of brick that's just a little too high to reach, even when jumping. Getting out is probably going to be a bit of a task, especially considering the water is more than cold enough to make limbs go numb.

The dark makes it impossible to see much further, but the space seems large, all filled with water, but with no other way out, stone walls the only thing for an intrepid explorer to find. Oh, and to make things even better, it's raining today. Water from below (though thankfully only like, knee-deep), and water from above... how fun.

But most importantly of all... you're not alone.

Welcome to Awash's second intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. New characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out. Thankfully, they have some friends on the outside, this time.

Once out, they'll be free to explore the various locations the Town has to offer at will. Just try not to die on any of the far-too-rickety walkways.

Hey, this idea is ridiculous enough that I still know where it's going without asking...

Have you tried eating any of the food around here? It's awful. I don't think it's even the type of awful that'll grow on me after a while.

[Many worlds, huh...? It's kind of an optimistic thought; Aqua seems calm about all of this, so surely there must be a way out of here.

That's pretty amazing... before this all happened, I didn't know it was even possible to travel to different worlds.

If we can wedge them into the brick, people can use them as handholds to climb up. Once one or two of us are out, we can run for help or look for things up there that might be useful in getting us all out of here.

As it sounds, it's a game-- it was meant to be something like a way to become the "you" you wanted to be, though I also heard there's a bit of an urban legend behind it too. You usually perform it with at least one other person.

And when you really need it, your Persona awakens.

No, I haven't yet. [ she's been too busy fretting about her situation, and trying to document her movements, the thought of hunger didn't even strike her until now. ] What exactly is awful about it? The food couldn't have gone bad inside a can.

... You might be onto something there. If the color only started coming back after you arrived... then it stands to reason that either by interacting or meeting some form of "condition", it's got to do something with the people here.

[There's obviously only one option here, and that's that, while Minato has his head ducked to try to avoid rain in his face, he doesn't see the fruit coming.

So of course, it hits his head, and he winces, hands coming up to try to protect himself from any other incoming missiles (there are none).]

It is in fact entirely a master plan for running water and flushable toilets. I mean, it wouldn't be easy, but if being stuck here is apparently the status quo for the moment I think it would be worthwhile.

Yeah, and if it was just rotten food, I'd be able to deal with it. It'd probably just be a bad can so I could find another, but... it just tastes like I put a mouthful of ash in my mouth. It's bad and weird.

[He sighs and flips the can a little to show her. The contents are... well, colourless. But Hunk didn't think that'd mean totally flavourless.]

[There are footsteps rushing in his direction and it's only out of a small glimmer of hope that Mika looks over... only to be disappointed that it's not the person he thought it would be. He holds back a bitter laugh. Of course it isn't. If it had been Yuu, he would have been shouting Mika's name.

Still, when it's clear that the teen isn't running past him but stops next to him - he doesn't turn away completely. Though it is only just his head turned in Minato's direction.

At the moment, Mika doesn't see this guy as a threat. Especially not when a towel is thrust at him.]

You should save it for someone who needs it. I won't get sick from something like this.

[Hunk it'll just upset you. Leave the kitchen. Keith stops to glance at his wall too, following Hunk's gaze.]

[Damn right he does as he's told. Greed sighs pointedly, despite the fact he's the one who told Ling to do this, but like . . . the kid should at least realize what an honor this is. Normally nobody gets this kind of treatment.

Nails change into claws, there's a moment of tension, and then Greed just fucking Black Panthers it on up, hand digging into the wall, arms moving as he hoists them both up and out of the well.

[Ohhhh my god. He finds out there are new people in the well and decides to start helping out, wandering around more, and what he finds is possibly the loudest man— and he's claiming to be Tokugawa? For a long moment, Guren just watches his cheery face, and then he's shoving a bundle of towels into his arms.]

Tokugawa, huh. I'm Guren Ichinose. You can start by helping me carry these to anyone who got a little too soaked in the well. [He's eyeing his getup, though, wondering... God, really. It wouldn't be the craziest thing he's run into in this place, but it's up there at the top.] There's probably just a few of them left by now, but we don't want anyone left out.

No pressure or anything, though.

[Hunk says it dryly... but with humour as he promptly rises to scrutinise the wall. Hm.]

This is a little tougher when I don't have Pidge's diary to read.

I'm not sure how well it'll work, but I'm willing to try. I'll freeze the water into a sort of tower, and then toss you up high enough to reach the top, and you can climb out.

Namely how those requirements are met. My best guess is that my color is the hex code that apparently is my username, but...

[ SHE ISN'T FOR SURE. she hates admitting to not knowing crap. ]
