ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light. It looks like a long trip upwards, a small cylinder with walls of brick that's just a little too high to reach, even when jumping. Getting out is probably going to be a bit of a task, especially considering the water is more than cold enough to make limbs go numb. The dark makes it impossible to see much further, but the space seems large, all filled with water, but with no other way out, stone walls the only thing for an intrepid explorer to find. Oh, and to make things even better, it's raining today. Water from below (though thankfully only like, knee-deep), and water from above... how fun. But most importantly of all... you're not alone. Welcome to Awash's second intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. New characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out. Thankfully, they have some friends on the outside, this time. Once out, they'll be free to explore the various locations the Town has to offer at will. Just try not to die on any of the far-too-rickety walkways. Please feel free to ask any questions here and don't forget to greet your fellow players here!

As it sounds, it's a game-- it was meant to be something like a way to become the "you" you wanted to be, though I also heard there's a bit of an urban legend behind it too. You usually perform it with at least one other person.

And when you really need it, your Persona awakens.

[Yusuke hums quietly in interest. It sounds... well, different from how he gained his Persona, naturally, but still similar in some respects.]

For myself it was... not as long. But, I had to confront certain truths and decide what path I wished to walk before my Persona appeared.

As someone told me once, a Persona is just one of many faces we wear to face life's hardships. It's just another part of you-- so if yours happened because you chose what path you wanted to walk, that one part of you must have been completely prepared.

That's a form of strength, you know.

The gratitude, though? That surprises her, and Maya blinks at him in a moment of sheer confusion... before ultimately deciding to just roll with it. ]

You're welcome! I don't really know your circumstances, but it really does seem to me like you know more about yourself than a lot of kids your age would.

[Yeah, when it comes to other kids his age, Yusuke is a little different. He isn't certain it's because he knows more about himself or that it's just... him.]

Not without help, at least... my friends have assisted me greatly in that respect.

I was going to start with your name, but you solved that mystery for me too. So I guess, after that, it was your take on this place.

My opinion on it, or the things that I have noticed?

There are quests that seem to be coming out once per month, and I think that they have some influence on the colour that is returning to this town. I also suspect that the colours we have assigned to ourselves have an influence on the resulting colours, but I am still keeping an eye on that.

[Pause.]

On a personal level, I wish to see more colour returned to this town. I do not mind it as much as others who are here... [He's feeling slightly less like he needs to go back, though of course he knows he wants to go back. Soon enough.] If all of the colours are returned, I wonder what may happen?

Quests that are linked to color... do you know where these quests themselves are coming from?

[ because she can do quests!! And she's also admittedly curious as to what it will mean if this entire town becomes colorful... does that mean they get out of here? ]

Yes, we have computers and on the forums they appear. "#FFFFFF" posts them, though I am not certain if it is an actual person or something else.

[He folds his arms over his chest, drumming his fingers against his arm.

Yusuke is not certain if it means they'll go home, but... he knows that for personal reasons he would like to see the colour restored.]

Another mystery! If nothing else, I can absolutely tell I won't be bored here.

[She's very gung-ho! It's kind of refreshing, in a way, though Yusuke understands all too well the frustration of those here who want to hurry up and return home.]

Yes, I doubt we shall ever be lacking in something to do besides quests to hunt down monsters.

The town is also not in the best of repair and needs work, and we need to gather our own supplies...
