t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? [Morgana is the most dog-like cat of all time! The proper thing for cats to do is to be as cryptic as possible, which Mogget absolutely adores. Case in point:]

I am called Mogget. Most of the time, anyway. [One vague answer that makes you think of another question! Doesn't he look pleased with himself.] Now, do lead the way. It's been quite some time since I've last eaten.

( he could even fly mogget around, if he asked for a lift. but walking is just as good, they're not going horrendously far out of the way. and flying is a bit colder, too--all that wind. instead he wraps his arms around his little bundle as best as he can, makes sure to give him as much body heat as possible through the jacket. )

Sorry, I'll remember that from now on. Mr. Mogget. ( it's important to always be polite even with a talking cat ok. most cats generally look unhappy so the look doesn't deter his smile at all. ) Fishing's fun! I'll work on getting you one once your fur's nice and dry.

Are you comfortable with other cats? My best friend, Damian--he has a cat named Alfred who lives at the boathouse too. I can take you to my Dad's place if you would prefer to be somewhere without other cats. He won't mind, I'm sure.

Well, like I said, cookin' is pretty much my thing around-- ... what? What is it? It didn't go bad already, did it?!

[It couldn't have! He just prepared that entire batch this morning! Why is she making that face?!]

Mr. F gives us a couple of different quests to do every month. If we complete them, then we get sometimes useful, sometimes stupid things in return. Stupid things like cardboard crowns, but useful things like colors returning to food. So I usually do one or two of those until I get bored, then I see what everyone else is up to. They're usually doing equally boring things though.

It isn't about that. I have him under control, and if he thinks he can go against that for just anything, then you're inviting him to do that to anyone.

[Guren is so paranoid. It's true his blood restores faster than most people, but not as fast as Yuu's, but...]

[ The fact that the world seemed to be almost completely devoid of color was not something she had really thought about until presented with the food, which had color. She was so busy trying to figure out what was going on to begin with that she hadn't really taken notice. ]

It all just sort of blends together at first. You'll get used to it, though. And you'll get used just sort of rolling with all the changes that happen around here, too.
