Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Hopefully they can get a hand out! For more information, please go here! | |
t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well.

It looks different from everything else here.
[ The fact that the world seemed to be almost completely devoid of color was not something she had really thought about until presented with the food, which had color. She was so busy trying to figure out what was going on to begin with that she hadn't really taken notice. ]

Right! That's... at least part of the reason we're here. We've been slowly gettin' color back. It was completely black and white when I got here. It's actually kinda cool how it's been comin' back in pieces. But uh. Avoid food that don't got color, okay? It's awful.

[ She beamed at him, a real smile this time. She'd have time to really think about the situation later, she supposed, but for now she was happy to know there was at least a reason she was here. She began to eat the food offered to her. ]

[Rin practically beams, grin toothy and showing off his fangs. His tail wags a little, not completely in view behind his back but still somewhat visible.]
I was gonna go deliver the rest to anyone else who might need help at the well before headin' back to my place, but if you're in Bluo I'm pretty easy to find.

The town has three districts, and I think you got a letter sayin' where to go if you wanna find a place to stay.

[ And that was when she started looking, realizing there was a soaking wet piece of paper sticking out from the bottom of her shorts.
.... Had that always been there?? She quickly took it and gently unfolded it. Sadly, it was pretty drenched. ]

He took it carefully, tilting his head a few times while trying to make out the running words. He could barely read on a good day... so this was basically hard mode for him.]

Yeah. There's a place to stay there for you. Not gonna be much in it, but a roof over your head and a crappy mattress is better than nothing at all.

[ They did stop into inns every so often, many times because she was having a hard time, but they also did more camping out than anything. She got used to it. She also didn't really have the emotional capacity to care about it, but she wouldn't have complained even if she had. ]
