t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. [ To his query, Sebastian receives a rather nervous stare, before she ducks her head and quickly shakes it. Sorry, she has seen absolutely no sign of a kid in an eyepatch. ]

I don't think I've seen any bats in this place yet... could it be one of our rewards? Hardly seems useful... unless we were also "rewarded" with insects, and we would need bats to keep those in check. Gods, what a strange system.

[ It's rare for Kisa to approach someone, especially someone she doesn't know, especially when she's still incredibly new here. But she'd been unable to say anything when she'd been with him in the well. And she hadn't seen him since, but sooner or later, when she catches sight of him, she's slowly making her way towards him.

And silently offering him a towel. Just in case any part of him is still wet. ]

... is what Kisa would say, slightly politer, if Kisa could talk. But at this moment in time? She definitely cannot.

And getting yelled at by a complete stranger is just making her instantly dart back about five feet and tremble. ]

[The transformation catches him off guard, but he doesn't set her down until they're on solid land. When he does so, it's slowly and carefully, like he's handling... well, a baby animal. All the while, he talks in an unusually quiet voice to try to calm her down. He won't particularly mind if she bites him; a tiger her size wouldn't do much damage.]

It takes a few seconds before she looks back at him, a little uncertainly. ]

Alright. [Weird. His fingers fall open, but the shuriken which had been there doesn't fall. It's gone. Almost like a magic trick maybe, except Sasuke doesn't seem to be flourishing about making it disappear.] Have you met three teenagers by the name of Boruto, Sarada, or Mitsuki?

[ Congratulations, Mogget! You've found... a not-very-tall perch, but she's at least taller than he is, and upon realizing there's a talking cat on her shoulder, she instantly goes still.

At least she's pressed herself away from the majority of the well captives, too alarmed to want to be involved in a throng of people. ]

[ zelda is taking a break at the church grounds, doing what she feels she can to keep the old place of worship in good condition. this means, today, sweeping the floors. she notices him as he approaches the place, politely smiling his way. ]

[ that's about the majority of her cousins, so Kisa should feel right at home.

And maybe she will at some point, but for now, she's quickly ducking a little more behind the tree.

[ Fushimi stares at Sidon with a flat look that's equal parts baffled and irritated. On one hand, Fushimi has never seen anything or anyone like Sidon before -- but on the other hand he has met a shapeshifting cat and a guy with no heart, and that's from back home.

Fushimi clicks his tongue in irritation at the entire situation. ]

It's not a great way to arrive somewhere, but at least you don't have to go down there again if you don't want to.

[The glinting shuriken from the roof is gone, and all that she sees is an opened, gloved palm. The cloak flourishes, however, when he brings his arm out. A sword dangles at the back of his right hip; not very long, thin, like a katana.

More noticeably, on the left, the sleeve of his shirt hangs straight down and limp. Odd, until realizing the reason is because he's missing an arm.]

[ She hadn't expected to run into a person, and she certainly hadn't expected said person to immediately start fussing over her, so Kisa's more than a little frozen by this treatment.

She at least remembers to nod, a little dazedly. ]
