Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Hopefully they can get a hand out! For more information, please go here! | |
t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well.

[ not INTERESTED in your flat beshirted man-chest, buddy! Lupin stays put anyways, resting a hand on one hip. ]

I'll try not to seduce you too much. [ A wink, and he continues. ] But I was wondering how everyone's eating? Do we take turns looking for food?

It's more of an every man for himself sort of situation, actually. There are some farms about that people have set up - you can take some produce from those. Oh, and once in a while, we receive some mysterious crates full of food for our good deeds.
[ "good deeds" has verbal quotation marks around it. ]
Stay away from any of the foods without color, though. They taste dreadful.

[ he doesn't have a good answer for the other question anyway, but this is slightly more concerning... either this guy is super traumatized by showing up here suddenly, or really good at pretending everything is all right. Or he's just weird. Weirder than Impey. A frightening possibility he's never had to consider before, but a possibility nonetheless!! ]

[ He quirks an eyebrow. At least it's positive energy - Lupin can get behind that, if that's all it is. (Possibly weirder than Impey still remains a very real threat.) ]
Hang onto that. We haven't a leader or even a culprit, but we do have to fend for ourselves out here, and it's hard work.

[ Understatement, probably. But reinforcing the dangers of a strange place seems counterproductive, not to mention a downer; Momo doesn't linger too long on the thought. ]
But everyone I've talked to has been really positive so far! There's someone who can use magic to heal people, and someone I just met seems like a super super capable guy— I feel pretty secure already.
