t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. I don't see anything above that would help. [ and even if there was, he's pretty sure it's not going to be extended all the way here at the bottom. ] Besides, there's no need for that.

We’re not going to just leave if there’s still someone here. [One last tug and she pulls the gun towards the lip of the well.] I’m coming down so try to move as far over to the side as possible.

Does an instrument do anything more useful than just signal how to act? I've only seen them in battle before now, but they were the kind that must have told when to attack.. I didn't realize each one called for a different command, though.

[His fingers curl a little around the hilt of his sword at his hip, remembering.] It doesn't matter how strong you are, there's something stronger. Trust me.

[ She tries to watch as inconspicuously as possible while trying to find another towel for herself. Her own is much smaller when she gets her hands on it, one of her many designated for her face - it will now be used to try and dry her boots off. ]

..I don't know? [ She hasn't really given it much thought, and it shows through the tone of voice she uses to respond with. ] I had it with me before I got here, 'cause I was leaving my hotel. Did nothing come along with you?

[...Interesting. It's speed that he can track, thanks to his own bizarre power and upbringing, but he's sure a number of people here wouldn't even be able to process speed like that visually. It's impressive, the kind of show of power that has him excited in the very back of his mind, even if that's pushed back with a wall of wariness, a reminder that he's looking out for too many people here, and he can't trust anyone new.]

sierra hates loud sounds, and so she hates everything about this already. being disturbed from her sleep to be insulted and then screamed at is the worst thing she could ever imagine. ]

( fingers wrap around the door knob of a house, easily turning it and letting himself in. this place feels right, yeah. somewhere deep in his heart. through the hallway he goes, chin tilted up as he sniffs his way through the house. )

Yeah. . Guren and me. He's my family--he's here, too. I used to uh, have a problem of going a little too demon-y for a while at a time but he made a medicine that fixed it.

( that they don't have here but it's cool, he's got this. everything is fine. )

Being a naminari isn't so bad. It helps me protect the people I care about, so.

[Okuni is a little amused to see Aigis join her on the grass instead of run in the opposite direction as she should. Maybe "transfer student" means "willing to roll with absurdity".]

I suppose I can forgive you just this once. [GRACIOUS!! also, hm] Any question could be interesting if it's something you really want to know... But I don't like boring questions about whether or not someone's found a way to get back or why the town looks so ugly. Don't ask me those!

If you don't use glue to put yourself back together, then how will we know it's the infirmary if there's no glue there? What are we supposed to be looking for?

It feels a little less nice coming from a small child who looks timid enough to be in Absolute Fear 90% of her life though... Still, Okuni looks over the bundle and gives Kisa an approving nod.]

At least you know how to follow directions...! [She'll take that bouquet, but she'll leave a white lily in Kisa's hands... there.] You can have that as my thanks.

[As dramatic as Vavaltorez can be and as intensely as he speaks, now his voice goes soft and reminiscent. It's almost somber in tone.]

She was the only person I ever broke a promise to. I said I would drink her blood only after I scared her and I would keep her safe until then, she wanted me not to drink any other human's blood until I successfully scared her.

Back then I didn't take my word as seriously as I do now. She was killed, I arrived too late to stop it. She even stopped me from killing every human who was there with her dying breath.

She died 400 years ago. Recently I learned she became an angel. I suppose with a soul that pure I shouldn't be surprised. [It's funny, he doesn't have a single problem saying this, but then again. The person he's talking about isn't anywhere nearby to hear him.]
