t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. I've made a few trips here and there. Some of the quests they have require a visit to the forest. Never really stayed long enough to see if I can convince myself that it's not as creepy as it is.

The creatures in the forest prefer to be left alone, I think.

The gesturing thing is weird. He'd thought at first that maybe she was just being weird and skittish by not answering verbally, but this makes him wonder whether there might be something more to it. Jotaro sets aside the dress to dig around for a smaller one, and after a moment's consideration decides to just be blunt about it as usual.]

[ Does she flinch at that question? A little. It's a rather complicated situation to try and pantomime without Hatsuharu there to be rudely blunt about it, and she's still not entirely okay with telling anyone about it either. Either it troubled them or they thought something was wrong with her.

So she doesn't try. Instead, she nods.

[ - it's true that he does. but why does he know about it? god, what did the town bring him? maybe someone from his future? he's heard it happen before, people coming in from the same place, same world, but from different points in time. maybe this is what's happening.

the hostility's uncalled for. the stranger made it clear that whatever it is that he has, the birthmark they share, he's not supposed to have it. that just makes him indignant, but he can't also say that it's normal. when have things been normal for him?

and the fact that it takes him a bit to respond probably gives him away. 30 seconds, right? giorno narrows his eyes at him. ]

It appears that this may be a little too small. But very impressive! I've never seen anyone with such an ability. Could you perhaps make it stronger and aim it out of the well like a waterfall?
