t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. [A very small spell! Small enough that she gets two small spouts of water from her hands. The overall water only raises like....1/8th of an inch.]

It appears that this may be a little too small. But very impressive! I've never seen anyone with such an ability. Could you perhaps make it stronger and aim it out of the well like a waterfall?

[It was too small! Though that wasn't a valid complaint in her mind. But if someone else was calling the shots...]

I could. But are you going to take responsibility for it?

[Saying the R word does make Sidon reconsider. He is a prince, after all and decisions are still important to him.]

Can you show me an example of your skill? Shooting it to the top without the water coming back into the well...I wouldn't want to be responsible of drowning any of you.

It's not like I can cast a half version! Besides, it's not about what would come back into the well. It's more about....well....

[She looks down, a bit chastised. She did it to herself.]

[Having just taken care of a possible flood back home, the look he gives her is one of pure horror combined with 'let's not do that. Ever'.]

Even if I would survive a flood, many others would not. Let us not risk such an endeavor...but your powers are impressive if you are able to perform such a feat.
