Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter." | |
Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Hopefully they can get a hand out! For more information, please go here! |

I didn't expect to have anything in common with a cat. But... you're not just a cat, are you?

[Ask him if he's enjoying himself and he'll vehemently deny it, but he's certainly not having a bad time. It's why he actually hacks a rather dry laugh! There are teens everywhere in this place, okay? And this man is still incredibly young in Mogget's eyes, it's true, but listen—he'll take what he can get.]
I was once many things, and now I am but few. I am Mogget. [A beat, and then:] Most of the time.

[What a smug little thing, this cat who isn't a cat. Enigmatic, too. But the energy does feel old, ancient, not exactly in a bad way. It feels... like the energy of one of the Tails.] Mogget. [An acknowledging greeting.]
Sasuke Uchiha. Most of the time.

Chakra, you call it? Well, well. [His tail begins slowly swishing once again.] Is this why you didn't bother asking why I can speak? Not that I'm complaining, mind.
[He's only been asked that question fifty times today? It's cool.]

The Tailed Beasts also have the ability to communicate with humans. [And Mogget seems more similar to those than the toads.] I haven't encountered anything like you before, but I wasn't surprised by the talking.
What kind of being are you?
no subject
An old one.
[He takes a second to yawn, because he's #dramatic like that.]
Whatever I may be, I am trapped here, just as you are. [He pointedly looks back over Chroma's shitty buildings.] I would have preferred a more scenic location, but... lackaday. At least there are fish.

I see. [Mogget quite reminds him of Kurama, honestly. He thinks it would be safe to assume Mogget as something similar to one of the Tailed Beasts. Powerful, ancient, sometimes a tad unruly because of it.]
It isn't so bad. Konoha has turned into a large city. You could be there, almost run over or stepped on.
Though you may also enjoy terrorizing the people, I'm assuming.
no subject
What an interesting assumption to make. I've been by your side for quite some time now, yet I've made no attempt to terrorize you.
[Maybe it's on his to-do list now. Hmm!! ]
And humans rarely look where they're going, it's true, but large cities have their charms. Large fish markets, for example. Or houses full of fat mice. [He should make a cat vacation guide. Anyway, though—] Does this... Konoha of yours have any such delights?
[Give this nosy feline the deets about your hometown.]

The village was hidden in a forest at the base of a mountain. Konohagakure no Sato, the Village Hidden by Tree Leaves. It's not so hidden now because it's a large city.
It's landlocked being in the middle of the Land of Fire, but there's markets with fish from the rivers or imported ones. I'm not sure about houses of mice, but I don't think a family would turn away a hunting cat just in case.
The weather is warm usually, at least.
no subject
A village in a forest sounds pleasant enough, but you need not fear me terrorizing your village if I am ever nearby. I much prefer the cold.
[He's the slightest bit salty! Just the slightest bit!!]
How long do you plan to stay up here? There are other things to do, you know.
no subject
This is one of the highest spots here. I came to see what I could. I didn't intend to stay long. [His eye lowers to glance at the cat, a hint of amusement there.] The same could be said of you.
