t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. ( He's pretty fast at reacting and is quick to try to catch the girl he saw falling right towards him but?? Instead there's a blast of smoke and he has no idea what's going on and he's honestly freaking out a little bit because he's so caught off guard by this, )

( The smoke clears and he's terribly aware that whatever he is holding is not a a girl. It is definitely not a small child. It is not even a very small child. This definitely feels kind of like one of Gokotai's tigers? But that's silly. Why would he suddenly be holding a tiger?

He's wandering around aimlessly when the sound of music catches his attention, and Jion follows it until he stumbles across ... something that looks straight out of a movie, to be honest. Who the hell just carries around a fancy harp?

Still, the music's really nice. He lingers a short distance away at first, but slowly wanders closer, until he's eventually crouched a few feet away, listening with rapt attention. And when the song ends, Tristan gets an enthusiastic round of applause. Sure, that sounded a little sad, but it was still good music!

( he's looking for it! one day he'll find it. not that having a laptop is that important to him as is, but. small steps; yuu will figure out what needs to be done to find it one day.

knife mess cleaned up, yuu turns to follow just a step behind guren. takes an extra moment to dust off his hands against his jacket. )

[Oh... no infirmary... he's going to get a disease and die, he understands. But she at least seems nice, so he takes the handkerchief away from his face automatically when she gestures for it, frowning at the cloth and at the immediate feeling of his face bleeding. Turns out doing so much talking sure will reopen a gash on his face, so this is the worst.]

[Her attitude would fit a vampire, but he's met plenty of people that seem to be one thing and are another. So which is it? He doesn't want to out and ask...]

( he knows that tone, and that look. and this isn't someone he's familiar with, so instead of his usual bitty response--yuu raises up both hands palm up, gives a sheepish smile. surrender, he's not going to fight her on this. not yet. )

( It looks like a lot of people are coming out of the well today which means it's really time to start running around and helping where ever he can. It isn't much but he's managed to find some towels that he can probably pass out. And it's in the middle of his running around that he's suddenly stopped by someone who looks like they might need one, )

Yeah? ( He doesn't seem to mind, especially since he even comes over to meet him, ) Just one?

[It's been so long since he heard sincere screams of terror directed at him. Of course, it's not his job anymore, so it's not that much of an accomplishment. He'd rather have some prinnies to instruct than a fainting woman.]

He's not very helpful. [Val is absolutely referring to God here, but he says it so dismissively.]

( why does crowley even need a cape, anyway. it's nice and swooshy and definitely adds to that "i'm a big bad vampire vibe" those uniforms do their best to give off but. look his hair was wet, that was clearly more important than the state of his cape.

yuu runs it over the top of his head, rubs out the dampness as best as he can before dropping it and shaking his head to get any left over loose droplets out. )

Can't you just run around really fast to dry it?

I don't know about that. The place is twisted, so it could hold just about anything. I ran into demons one of the first times I went in there.

[So!! Speaking of that, though, his eyes flick back to Sandalphon.]

About six months now.

[Counting the days, keeping the weather in mind, as close as he can manage to match it to home. Six months. Saying it aloud makes his stomach sink.]

We're all working together to find a way out of this mess. Right now, the most I can say helps is following those quests on the laptops— have you found yours yet?

[ That's okay, he's used to dealing with assholes. Jion blinks at the curt admonishment but doesn't take it to heart, instead skimming over the notes. ]

Man, that seems like a good idea. I've just been trying to remember stuff, but writing it down is probably smarter ...

[ A small nod of admiration before he glances at the forest. Then back at Reim. ]

Then, were you gonna go in there to take notes? You might trip over stuff if you're still writing while you walk around in the woods.

( so stealthy. for a few houses yuu doesn't say a word that this dude is following him, even if he does know he's there: heightened senses make catching steps easy, he doesn't even need to turn his head to realize that it's the same guy. the taptaptap of his shoes against the ground is enough of a tell for him.

but he's only going to put up with that for so long, until yuu swivels around on his heels and raises a hand, points an index finger right out for dextera. )

[ Despite the awful first impression, Jion does seem sincerely eager to make friends -- he offers a hand forward to shake, though not too quickly, just in case that might also startle her. ]

Melodramatic losers like Tristan carry a harp, because it’s like, the hipster version of a guitar, or something.

Not that he’d know about that, anyway. When he finally closes that number he nods politely to that enthusiastic clapping. That’s never really something he expects from his audience—if he’d even expected an audience at all—but it’s always nice to meet a fellow musical enthusiast!

I didn't bring a towel, but you can use my jacket. It's soft and comfy, and I just washed it so it's not dirty or anything.

( It's that time of month where people start breaking into houses and rifling through drawers and shelves for clues and meanings, huh? The person today seems to be particularly interested in the computer, though and that just gets Mutsunokami all excited. Yes, this is man with a great sense of curiosity, able to see what the most interesting thing in this home is!

Tapping the top of the computer, he looks particularly proud as he explains, )

( There's so much going on today, he really doesn't think much when he sees a white bat hanging around where ever she is. So what? Weird things show up in town all of the time and at least this bat is harmless! But man... the more he thinks about it. )

Is it okay? ( It's actually a nice and sunny day today. Isn't that bad for bats? Shouldn't it be in a dark cave or something ) ... It's pretty fat so it's gotta be okay, right?

( An animal doesn't get that fat and comfortable if it's dumb!! It clearly knows how to survive and take care of itself?

But yeah, he sure did call Sierra fat. )
