Pussy's in the well. Who put her in? Little Johnny Thin. Who pulled her out? Little Tommy Stout. What a naughty boy was that, To try to drown poor pussy cat, Who never did him any harm, But killed all the mice in the farmer's barn.
Welcome to Awash's first intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. Characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out.

ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light.

[ The Abyss of Time, Erebus, the Great Seal...a lot has happened over the past twenty-four hours, more than any person should have to reconcile mentally, emotionally, and physically. But that's what she's built for and in the end, a deeper understanding and a renewed purpose to move forward make it worth all the effort. A good night of sleep will help, too.
Well...would have helped. Clearly, that isn't happening.
Mitsuru is, like many of her fellow well-wakers, is surprised and unimpressed with her entrance. ]
...How disgraceful.
[ Soaked--her skirt is soaked and the leather of her boots can stand up to some wear and tear, but they definitely shouldn't be sitting in standing water for hours on end.
What is this place? Where are the other members--no, where are her friends? Where is the dormitory? She has many questions, but first things first.
Eyes towards the mouth of the well--that seems to be the clear way in and out. Mitsuru folds her arms, glancing at the person beside her, before turning her gaze back to the top. ]
How high does it seem to you?
Deux. Ghost Town
[ As nice as it is to be out of the town, it doesn't offer much in the way of comfort. Mitsuru dusts herself off as she steps away from the well, then rests one hand on the hilt of her sword. The world around them is entirely... ]
...Gray.
[ She turns in a slow circle, eyes narrowing.
Yes, the town is entirely gray. ]
It looks like an old picture.
[ Could this be connected to the Abyss? No, no they started the flow of time again, and there was most definitely color there. ]
How is this possible? ...What is this place?
Trois. Don't mind me
[ Well, if the situation isn't strange enough, your character may come across Mitsuru a little further into town, but not too far from the well. She's not alone, though. Standing just behind her is what appears to be a very tall, eerily pale woman in golden armor and a red mask. There's a slight blue glow around the taller woman as Mitsuru waits with her arms crossed, looking serious.
Yes, just two ladies hanging out glowing in the middle of the street.
No big deal. Except that it probably stands out a bit given the otherwise grayscale of the world around them.
What do you do?
> Approach with caution.
> Approach without caution. (Ill-advised, she is armed.)
> Walk away. This day is already too weird.
> ...? ]
À tout va.

He's seen so many weird things in his life. Even if they're technically registered as "completely normal".
But they're full of color unlike everything else around this place.]
... Did you find anything?
[Yeah, that's good. That's a good starter.]

Not yet. I'm waiting on the results of a scan. I'm hoping it may shed some light on the situation, but I'm not expecting much.

What's not easy to miss, of course, is Mitsuru's Persona.
It's strange, really. Minato had been pretty sure that nothing could make his heart leap in his chest like that anymore, but then again, he hadn't really expected to meet his team here, after everything. He'd thought that...his last chance had been that day, on the rooftop (and still, he hadn't lasted quite long enough)--
...He shakes himself. What matters, then, is that this isn't some sort of twisted afterlife. If Mitsuru is here, then something else is going on, because Mitsuru would never die so easily, not with Nyx gone. Absolutely not. It's enough to get him to focus, at least, and he steps towards her, brow furrowed slightly.
(This is probably not a good idea, but is there really any way to approach a situation like this with tact?)]
Mitsuru-senpai...! [Heyo.]
no subject
In reality, nothing could really prepare her to face the dearly departed. Not her own father, and not him.
But she recognizes that voice instantly. Still as she is, it's as if every muscle in her body is frozen for a moment. Were her ears deceiving her? The Abyss of Time had shown them memories, things that had seemed so real at the time. Surely, this could be a similar effect...
Slowly, Mitsuru turns, eyes widening.
There he is. ]
...You--...
Scan Complete.
[ A small blue window appears in front of Mitsuru's face, momentarily blocking her view. It lists a few troubling results, but her eyes immediately go to the most important line.
Minato Aristao, 3M SW.
The screen disappears like snow and her Persona seems to evaporate as well.
Her arms fall to her sides. ]

[Instead, focusing on the "how" and the "what" sounds good for now.]
Although you are as pretty as a picture, I can't say this is one. [nailed it]
That said, I'm glad someone else can confirm it. I was worried by eyes were failing me after so long in that well...

[ As strange as the situation is, this is--this is not at all what she anticipated. Not that there's much she could anticipate, but Mitsuru is used to Shadows and darkness and superhuman abilities and... ]
...I feel like it's my ears that are failing me now.
[ Is this a pigeon talking to her. Is that what's happening.
She presses her fingers to her temple. ]
I must be hallucinating.

And try to be as casual about it as possible, because there are so many people from the well who have unique powers, and here she is with nothing to defend herself, not even her memory smashing ability, because nobody here is connected to Sora as far as she can tell. Not that she would want to ruin someone's memories in the first place! But faced with the idea of being unarmed in an unfamiliar world, having that ability wouldn't be so bad. Just in case.
There's no use wishing for it, and (hopefully) the woman has no reason to attack her? So Naminé walks past and around them, staring just a little bit and burning the memory into her mind to recreate later. Whoever these two are, they make an impressive view, and she feels very small beside them.]
E-Excuse me.

Trois - Une rencontre à travers le temps dans un monde gris
The reddish hair stands out even more against the grey background. He has to think about this in silence, because as much as he feels he has an answer as to who this is, his mind doesn't quite wish to follow. It wouldn't make sense, after all. Well, there was only one way to find out, as he pushed his glasses upwards before walking over. Cautiously, of course. One could only wonder what her Persona could do, and she seemed rather concentrated on her task.]
Miss? May I inquire what you are doing?
[His voice neutral and polite. He as an idea of what the answer may be, but it is always better to open with something a little more subduded. However, there was no denying it, she had the seriousness of her father. At least, if his guess was correct.]
Véritable poésie
She hears footsteps, but it's the sound of a voice that draws her attention. A man, taller than her, clothes that fit appropriately--tailored? Something she's found is less common than not--glasses. It brings her to pause. ]
...I'm performing a preliminary scan of the area.
[ She says matter-of-factly.
He looks...
Familiar.
As he draws closer, she can appraise him more accurately. ]

Staring from a distance is Yusuke, who's so startled he stopped mid-step. His foot is even hovering over the ground as he's completely forgotten to put it the rest of the way down. His attention is riveted on the "woman" behind Mitsuru.
That glow... It couldn't be a persona?
His hand presses tightly against his chin as he keeps staring and (after about a minute) remembers to put his foot on the ground so he's not precariously balanced on one.]
