he Town is quiet this week. No sudden quests on the forum post, no roars of werewolves in the distance... just peaceful, peaceful quiet. Of course, it's hot as hell right now, but that aside, it's pretty pleasant. You probably don't want to wander around the Town right now, but... Naturally, now's when the Town is going to start thoroughly encouraging you to do just that. You do want to find your doorway back home, don't you? Better get searching! Sure! If you want to have a look around, I can give you a tour. [He hops to his feet, then offers a hand to pull Honebami up.] I'm Izuku Midoriya, by the way. It's really nice to meet you, Honebami-san!

[Izuku looks sadly down at his hand, fingers still bent in the fingergun position.] Oh...it doesn't?

[But he'll follow Michael toward Ruga, anyway!] I wonder if there's any correlation between the portal's locations and where they actually lead to... ah, I'm Izuku Midoriya, by the way! You're one of the newcomers, right?

[She peels open the top of the box and starts rummaging in it.] We didn't do much spying, but we do things like bodyguard duty, dealing with criminals and terrorists, disaster relief and answering the complaint hotline.

[ This has happened to the others at home, but not him. Usually Miss Kirika and Miss Ayako had flipped Hirahara right out of his sleep pants before when he wouldn't get up on laundry day. He didn't actually expect Maya to go for it. He figured she'd give up.

He starts scoooooting away from her on his butt, holding the ends of his cape. ]

[Though he squints just a little, Izuku doesn't actually seem to mind Guren examining all the All Might stuff.]

After...mostly. I started collecting things back when I was a kid. [The implication is that he's still adding to his collection now, because of course he is.]

I-it's not... customary, exactly. [And he's shrinking in on himself a little now.]

It's not unusual to buy things that are themed after a hero like him... I just. Um. Happen to have more than most people.

Nothing much.

[She could probably explain about where she's taking him, exactly, but well..]

We're jumping down the well.

[Looks like it's going to be a surprise.]

[ Oh, Saeki. Poor, sweet Saeki.

She's already advancing. ]

I gave you proper warning. [ Twenty whole seconds. ] So now it's time to take action.

[He whips his head toward her as soon as it sinks in.]

Maribelle-san! [He's really touched--and his entire face just lights up at her now.] I will!

[Kairi grins and sits down next to her.]

So is this where you grew up? What was it like?

No, wait, I really do have to wear this! Maya! It's important!

[ He waves his hands in front of him and tries to plead. Well, okay, nothing will happen to him, but what if Mr. Rokkaku shows up? Or any of the higher ups? It'll look so improper! ]

Ah...yeah I did.

[Kairi tries to walk forward, though she struggles not to trip over all the pillows and sheets.]

So is this your home?

ACK-! Geez!

[Kairi sighs but then can't help but smile with a nod. She grabs his hand and leads the way. It's her home after all!]

That's weird... it's just like I remember it. But Radiant Garden was destroyed, wasn't it?

Some of 'em are smaller or bigger... Ya know, like Honebami and Tonbokiri. (He know he's met Tonbokiri already but what about Honebami? Just to be safe, he adds,) Honebami just got here with the last batch.

But we're all swords or spears at the end of the day, haha.

(Specifically blades. No guns, no bows. Huh.)

(He actually wonders if someone or something is nearby and glances to the side, trying to see whatever it is Guren's looking at. Huh, he must just be staring off into space? Lost in thoughts? But... what he says next is strange,)

... They're already dead.

[darkbreak]

Yeah. Nothing really changes here too much.

[Shaking his head slowly and motioning to the spot beside him.]

They were hidden in my world, too. Long before the catastrophe, there was research by magical institutions and cults.

[So. There's a lot he could talk about.]

Let's not assume anything until we know better, but still try to be cautious. Demons feed on desires... so it's strange that you don't show many.

Bringing someone back to life... it usually comes with heavy consequences. For example, hearing that they died at all causing them to turn into dust and fade away.

[It sounds...hard. No matter how he looks at it, listening to Shiho now it sounds like there's a lot of history she's not talking about. That there's a lot of pain, a lot of hardship that she and others have been through, over and over again, solely because of their abilities that they were born with.

... Because of course, Shiho is an esper. Doesn't it explain a lot? Of course she has those skills, in all of her impressive range of abilities, in the way she's always been so cagey about her life and her punishments--

... Shiho has been through a lot, hasn't she? Minato follows, but when she finally drops that bomb on him... he just nods quietly, and sighs.]

You've...really been through a lot, haven't you, Sannomiya-san? It sounds like you and everyone else has experienced so much.

I'm sorry that people were treated that way, no matter what abilities they have. It's not right. And I'm really, really glad you're surrounded by good people now.

[He's not bothered by her powers, of course--how could he be? He's got strange powers of his own, but even if he didn't? Shiho's a precious friend to him, and nothing like this could ever change that.]

[swordfucker]

Haha. I'm sure he's a great teacher.

[Better than he'll ever be, that's for sure. But Guren moves in to take a seat somewhere, just... deciding that he could use a break after all this world hopping.]

Tonbo...kiri...

[Hold on. He gets it now. That weird ass name, sharing the name with a historical spear— hm. You know, he doesn't want to talk about how much of an idiot he is, in this case.]

That's right. [ahem] Still, I've never heard of anything about spirits like you. At least, not in this way... Physical entities of these spirits? It's new.

[swordfucker]

They're all dead because of me.

[He's still staring at that spot. It's not like Mutsu can see or even feel that Mahiru is there, after all, even as Guren's eyes follow her while she skims the book titles.]

So I'm going to bring them back. I've been researching it. You don't have to worry about the hows or whys.
