t seems like just another day in this place. It's chilly, but not miserable, and there's a bit of holiday cheer in the form of a few of those trees people have managed to decorate.
Of course...there's also the shades, but who cares about those?
They wander, drifting too and fro, following their usual, typical lives as if they have no idea that they're not longer alive, no longer in their own proper home. They walk over the frozen lake in Flavo as if it's not even there, open doors that no longer exist, and settle into rooms that are nothing but rubble.
They're living in a past that only they can see, but perhaps you can see a bit more from watching them?
Only... maybe don't spend too much time with them, lest you start seeming too much like a ghost yourself.

[Help him out here.]

[ Carefully -- carefully -- she'll let go of one of his hands. But her other curls tighter around the one she's still holding, and she gives him a second to adjust just in case. But she'll gently fly them in that direction, and their pace is pretty leisurely. ]

[There's a brief moment where he wasn't entirely sure about letting go, that twist of nerves in the stomach tightening. He lets it happen, though, and when he's positive she won't send him dropping to the ground he lets his shoulders and grip relax.]
Sorry about panicking earlier...

It's fine, although it is sort of funny to see someone who calls himself "Shinigami" get cold feet over a little flying.
no subject
[Hastily blurted out and almost run together in his frantic need to defend his pride. ]
no subject
You're actually scared of heights! And you're like, a pilot or something! Hahahaha!
[ no one ever said she was nice ]
no subject
I'm not afraid of heights I'm afraid of falling!
[Look, watching someone literally take a header from the top story of a pretty high building does things to you.
How the hell did Heero survive that anyway.]
No one flies without a shuttle or a plane or mobile suit where I'm from!
[And probably other devices but he's too busy defending himself to get technical about it.]
no subject
[ sorry about her enjoying herself at your expense duo ]
no subject
[Duo says it in the dryest drawl ever, clearly not amused. He can't help it, okay! Heero is a jerk that made him see terrible things!
You watch someone almost suicide fall, survive, and then reset his own broken bone and try coming out the other side completely disturbed.]
no subject
also man, talk to her when you have your ARM BLOWN OFF and then just kind of casually shrug it off. ]
no subject
Honestly Heero is the reason for most of Duo's nightmares.]
I knoowww, I know! I'd say you have my soul now but I'm not entirely sure that hasn't been taken already.
no subject
Tell me who took it, because I will just steal it back.
[ is she joking or ]
no subject
[He's the survivor of a literal massacre that happened at a church. The same one he was living in for at least a year.
But he doesn't want to bring that part up.]
I was the one going around calling myself Shinigami, though.
no subject
Somewhat despite herself, Vriska will give his hand a small squeeze, though her grin is wicked. ]
Then consider it mine now. I'll hang onto it for you. Maybe someday you'll find a way to buy it back off me.
no subject
[... he was imagining that, wasn't he?]
Y'know. I can't even argue. I bring half this shit on myself anyway, might as well accept responsibilty for this, too.
no subject
Maybe get good enough that you don't need your ass saved on three separate occasions inside like a month, and then we can talk!
no subject
Yeah, I guess I am pretty rusty. Geez, take a guy out off the battlefield for a year and everything goes to shit. You must think I'm a total loser.
no subject
[ that's awfully honest. but she'll smile, and shrug a shoulder. ] But not now. Actually, I think you are pretty cool.
no subject
[Well shit. He wasn't expecting that response, and it shows on his surprised face along with a faint tint of pink on his cheeks that could easily be brushed aside as a result of cold air.]
Heh. Well, I think you're cool, too.
no subject
Thanks? Haha.
[ ... look at these awkward nerds. ]
no subject
Have we uh, hit Flavo yet?
[Awkward turtles.]
no subject
[ She gestures below them. The houses are starting to change shape to those cute, haphazard cottages.
And, not too far, is the church, which is quite pretty from above. ]
We have.
no subject
[He. Wasn't paying attention. Oops.
But she was right, it was pretty different here. He would go to the church every so often for personal reasons, but he had rarely focused very much on how different it was before now.]
The church looks cool from up here.
