t seems like just another day in this place. It's chilly, but not miserable, and there's a bit of holiday cheer in the form of a few of those trees people have managed to decorate.
Of course...there's also the shades, but who cares about those?
They wander, drifting too and fro, following their usual, typical lives as if they have no idea that they're not longer alive, no longer in their own proper home. They walk over the frozen lake in Flavo as if it's not even there, open doors that no longer exist, and settle into rooms that are nothing but rubble.
They're living in a past that only they can see, but perhaps you can see a bit more from watching them?
Only... maybe don't spend too much time with them, lest you start seeming too much like a ghost yourself.

Have we uh, hit Flavo yet?
[Awkward turtles.]

[ She gestures below them. The houses are starting to change shape to those cute, haphazard cottages.
And, not too far, is the church, which is quite pretty from above. ]
We have.

[He. Wasn't paying attention. Oops.
But she was right, it was pretty different here. He would go to the church every so often for personal reasons, but he had rarely focused very much on how different it was before now.]
The church looks cool from up here.

[It's actually easier to see from up here, too.]
Quaint does describe it pretty well, though.

[ She'll keep them still in the air above the church. If they were higher it'd be clearer, but even from here they can see far enough to watch the houses change shape abruptly at the borders of Ruga and Bluo. ]
Actually, you know what weirds me out the most? That the differences are so distinct, but there are no walls between the districts. You'd think that if the separation between districts was supposed to be so strict, they'd make it harder to do, right? But there's nothing stopping you from going wherever you want. It just looks different.
[ shakes her head. ] There are differences this stark on Alternia, too, but usually they're separated by way more distance, not all in the same town.

[Which makes him wonder further...]
None of these... shadows of past people or whatever seem bothered by it, either. They're all acting like this is normal for them.
Damn. I like getting to see this, but it just gets my mind running over how messed up and strange it all is again!
