t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. [He says this like it's the silliest name he's ever heard! Like his own name isn't Mogget. Opening both eyes, he gives Hunk a quick once-over... and listen, buddy, I'm sorry, but? He snorts in a very judgmental fashion?]

How fitting. [He's so mean!] I suppose I will forgive you, although I trust that you will take better care in the future?

[This is what you get when you're dealing with a cat that's 100% magic!! And even though Mogget is disappointed that he didn't get to see a more amusing reaction, he remains still as Kisa settles onto his back. No fur pulling? Excellent, but—]

You'll have to hold tighter than that. Be sure to stay low. [A pause as he considers something, and then:] And keep your eyes closed, as well. You humans do love to panic.

[He takes a few quick steps forward, just to show her that this isn't exactly the smoothest form of transportation, but when he trusts that she's as secure as she'll ever be—it's time for magical cat parkour! Which, you know, wouldn't be possible for a normal lion-sized cat, but jumping from wall to wall is incredibly easy—and incredibly quick!—when you can use magic for an extra boost. It's all over in a flash!

So... dry land. Mogget has never appreciated it more than he does now, but before he can take a proper look around, he knows that he has this tiny human to deal with. Instead of dumping her off, he glances back at her as he (gently) rolls his shoulders back. Off!]

The best place to fish, of course.

[Mogget looks back at the map, tilting his head to the side. He probably looks very cute, and he's aware of this fact.]

I see plenty of places to try my luck in... Bluo, I believe it is called, but I'd prefer to make good use of my time. It's been quite some time since I last ate.

[Does he need to eat in order to survive? Nope. Does he want to eat for the sheer pleasure of it? Yes, because he's a glutton.]

I've a point, you say, yet you still choose to ignore it. Most interesting.

[Humans! Mogget lowers his paw, surreptitiously studying Aizawa as he yawns.]

But I didn't "just" get out of anything. I climbed out of the well some time ago, although others don't seem to find it quite as easy as I did. A pity.

[His amused tone suggests that he doesn't believe it's a pity at all, because he absolutely doesn't. This is free entertainment, baby! If only he had a fish to eat...]

[Toward Flavo they go, then! It didn't take him long at all to memorize that rough map tacked to the board, so he confidently leads them through various twists and turns.]

My name? [He hums thoughtfully, almost like this is a Very Serious Matter. Spoiler alert: it's not! He just likes the drama.] I've a great deal of them, but you may call me Mogget. A pleasure.

[And that last bit as said as sarcastically as he can, because it's him.]

[The only conclusion she can draw from this is either Yuu is just as bad as Guren in this regard or, possibly, worse. (Kaoru you are only marginally better yourself...)]

Of course he made it out okay! But you know that's not the point, right? He's so busy protecting everyone...but I don't think he's even putting in half the amount of effort to make sure he's okay himself.

[She sounds like she's complaining now.]

Just because he can heal doesn't mean people won't worry when he acts like this.

[ This threat would've been 500% less threatening if not for the fact that Crowley is legitimately picking Momo up by the scruff of his neck??? What???

[ He automatically looks at Lottie before remembering what he's holding and averting his eyes once more. ]

Vanadzor. In Armenia. Or, well -- the camp I'm stationed at is a bit outside the city, but it's close enough, I guess. [ He frowns thoughtfully. ] Funny thing is though, I don't remember falling asleep. It wasn't late, so I'm pretty sure I was still checking my equipment when I just woke up in that well. Sure was a surprise.

[ He gives a slightly annoyed huff, but ah well. That's all over and done with now. ]

How about you?

[purrsuasively]

[Mogget and Damian are going to be a beautiful disaster. But ten? Ten? Mogget snorts quietly, because ten years is the length of a really, really good nap.]

"Pretty okay," you say. I suppose there is something commendable about doing things on your own at such a young age, although I find that the younger a human, the sillier they tend to be.

[Teens are another beast entirely! But while that's certainly a rude thing to say to a child, his tone isn't sarcastic at all; it's very matter-of-fact, because listen, kiddo, he's been around humans for way too long. He's seen some things, which is why, after another few seconds of silence, he oh-so casually asks:]

What would you say you have the most trouble with?

[Not that he's offering to help if he can!! Gosh!]

[ She looks like she's thinking about something. Jion gives a curious tilt of the head, trying to figure it out. ]

Do you think it's weird? [ Because he can sort of understand that. Jion grunts as he stretches his legs out a bit, propping himself back on his hands. ] I guess it kinda is ... but I don't think they have ulterior motives or anything! I think people just know they have to cooperate to survive in a weird place like this. So everyone's nice!

[ ... huh. well, it's not that she doesn't take his warning seriously--she does. just, she's made for combat so situations like the forest are her expertise.

it seems her attention is pretty hooked there, given the way the careful interest lights up in her eyes when he mentions that. that's definitely important to know. ]

[Mogget doesn't know what the fuck a kleenex is, but this human clearly isn't afraid of him. It's... slightly annoying, because his ego is hyuge, yet he can't help but to approve of her attitude. Hmm!]

[ Ari is still intent on helping out, so he meets back up with Reim once he's gathered a few things—most importantly, he found a glass jar. How else will they collect the honey, after all? ]

> "I'm back."

[ Ari makes sure to announce his arrival, just in case Reim doesn't notice. The boy is a little out of breath from hurrying around town, but he seems mildly proud of himself for securing a honey receptacle.

This is clearly going to go very well with no problems whatsoever. ]

Demons are evil, [but is Val particularly evil? His actions say one thing, but his words say this.] but we have a great and noble purpose. Keeping the world in balance by planting fear into the hearts of humans.

Oh, come on! You know what I'm saying. [ He knows she doesn't mean it, but this is still important for him to clarify! ] Just that it wouldn't make any sense for me to ask you how --

[ A pause as he finally realizes what she said. ]

Wait ... a giant pigeon? Really?

[ On paper, that is. Which brings him to this next question: ]

Last one, I promise— how hard are the quests?

[ Ah. Momo grimaces, but the expression comes and goes. ]

Ugh. Good to know, though! Do you know who it is that gives us the mystery boxes?

[ Time to pull his hands up in the universal "doggy paws" position. ]

I'm really really good at good deeds! Woof woof! [ momo......... ]

Usually there's more benefit than harm, especially in the form of colors returning.

Most importantly, things that lack color taste awful. So getting food color back is always a plus.

[ Please don't leave him down here.

Ari is sufficiently impressed when she makes her descent, his eyes widening. She certainly seems like she knows what she's doing, which is a far cry better than him right now. ]

> "Wow."

[ Wait that's not what she's asking for.

Ari sloshes his way over to her. ]

[This doesn't surprise Akira at all. Guren declares people after five minutes, sometimes.]

Mm. I bet he's glad to see you.

[But like, in a Guren way.]

[ It may be too late for Jion... to compliment a vampire so openly?! Momo squints, trying to see if this poor dude looks hypnotized or entranced...

...before deciding that he doesn’t know shit about vampires, so he should probably take Jion’s word for it. ]

—That really is super cool…! And he didn’t try to suck your blood or anything…?!

Come to think of it, the person who saved me was like a real life ninja, too… Are you hiding anything super-super-cool, yourself?

[A defense force. Vigilantism is usually to be discouraged, since it often ignores proper due process, but under the circumstances it's not a bad idea. He'll have to learn more about it, but in the meantime...]

Restore the color? And how do we do that?

[Thankfully someone has already informed him that that isn't just his vision malfunctioning. Though it raises more questions than it answers - he's fairly certain no such phenomenon as this has ever existed, where objects lost their color en masse, and slowly regained it, regardless of the light from the sun or artificial sources.

In short: very weird.]

[ Believe it or not, Ari is actually an older brother. His little sister might be a precocious teen now, but when they were kids he used to look out for her. Kisa reminds him a little bit of Annie, before she got old enough to start pushing him around and dumping her chores on him. ]

[ Since he hasn't introduced himself yet, he decides to rectify that as they begin to walk toward the Ruga district together. ]

Right! Right. You go do that. Sorry, didn't mean to make a mess.

[ He's been kindly lent a towel or two, and he awkwardly crouches down to mop up the wet streaks on the floor. Feels kind of weird to be bossed around by such a young-looking roommate, but that's okay.

It's not until a second or two later that he realizes what Giorno said. ]

Hey! Giorno, right? [ Kinda half-shouted towards where Giorno went. ] You said you were excited about getting robbed?
