Little Willie, mean as hell, Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter."

t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. [You clawed him, Mogget. You effectively clawed his feelings.] I'm, uh, I'm Hunk. Forgiveness would be great. Would super appreciate it.

[purrsuasively]

...Hunk.

[He says this like it's the silliest name he's ever heard! Like his own name isn't Mogget. Opening both eyes, he gives Hunk a quick once-over... and listen, buddy, I'm sorry, but? He snorts in a very judgmental fashion?]

How fitting. [He's so mean!] I suppose I will forgive you, although I trust that you will take better care in the future?

[atomicals]

[Wow, this cat is judgey af. But, Hunk isn't really bothered. Rather, he's thinking that if he'd ever met a cat who talked they would be like this. Haughty. He even says:] Thanks? [to the "how fitting" like Mogget buddy]

I'll be careful. Yeah. No trying to pet cats without asking first.

[purrsuasively]

[Thaaaaat's Mogget! He's the Worst.]

It's only polite. And you know, [Mogget says faux-thoughtfully,] other cats will rarely warn you before they strike? So perhaps my advice will save you unnecessary pain in the future.

[That's almost a generous thing to say, before he, you know, sighs in a rather dramatic fashion.]

Provided, of course, that you actually heed it. You humans so rarely do.

We're, uh. We're pretty weak to cuteness. Soft animals.

Our brains kind of shut off when we see one.

[He kind of laughs to say because he's getting used to this talking cat and he's just. The quintessential cat, huh?]
