[At any point during the month you may come across the community gardens in the Town and see a couple of different set-ups.

For one thing, someone created a sign painted with purple paint that reads "FLOWER CROWNS HERE."

For another thing, there are bushels and bouquets of different kinds of plants and flowers that have their color restored that have been gathered.

And finally, there are smaller slips of paper that read "RED", "YELLOW", and "BLUE."

At least once a day people passing by the garden will find John sitting there and monitoring the situation. Anyone who approaches will be greeted with a large grin and a wave.]

You saw the forum, right? I thought we could all make this a little easier on each other.

[Grab some flowers and some friends! Questing has never been so easy.]

Then it should go both ways, duh. [He easily weaves the rose into his crown then because Dave's a jerk =\] Also nail polish seems hard to apply.

That's just because you have trouble sitting still sometimes.

Even besides that! The brush is so small, how is anyone supposed to be that precise?

...Patience and practice? Man, you're the one who tried to master a bunch of fiddly magic tricks.

Okay that is definitely different, shut up. At least magic is cool and involves a lot of moving parts instead of sitting there brushing over your own fingernails.

[ dave shoves john's shoulder? ] Don't mock our future gal pal nights, you asshole. Also, I've never seen you do magic so how would I know? Lean over here for a second.

[ he's...completed a flower crown. it's kind of shoddy but he tried real hard, let him crown you. ]

You never asked--oh. [Oh, okay. He shuts up for a minute and just obliges by leaning over. Crown him, damnit.] You're sure?

[parodeity]

Can't think of anyone more worthy. Stand up so I can get the full effect? [ after he drops the crown on john's head, gentle. ]

[windeity]

[The crown's on his head and he floats up a little, not quite standing but at least he's above and looking up, adjusting the crown a little.]</small How's that?

[parodeity]

[ dave takes one of john's hands and dramatically bows over it, lips barely brushing his knuckles. he lets go after a second. ]

Milord. [ dumb...but he laughs then, because he knows it is. ] You look like a giant dork.

[windeity]

"Well, yeah, you're not."
"Wait are you flirting?"
"...No?"

Hm. Give him a second to just overthink that even if he's just staring at Dave and then staring at his hand before...you know. Blowing it off to laugh, too.]

Shut up! [But he's still snickering to himself while keeping the crown on.] Good to know that was your true motive here.

You barely need my help with that motive?

[ dave is a terrible best friend, but he's laughing anyway still. ]

But seriously, I think I did excellent work.

[He's still making a face, but a hand reaches out to push at Dave's head.]

Well it is still in one piece, so you did okay on that part. I'll treasure it forever.

I'm flattered you love it that much. [ he smacks john's hand away, lightly. ] Appreciate me?

[windeity]

I appreciate you all the time. [A teasing smile.] Am I supposed to do anything else here?

[parodeity]

Appreciate me better? [ he has no clue but he stands up properly, stretching. ] And I dunno - who all have you found worthy so far?

[windeity]

[Give him a moment, And he'll allow a red flower crown to drop out of his sylladex into his hand, waggling it at Dave instead.]

You're too tall again.

[parodeity]

You can fly. [ ...but dave drops to one knee again anyway. ]

[windeity]

[Dave drops to a knee and John stands on his toes anyway just in case, resting the flower crown on his head and making sure it doesn't mess up his hair too much.]

So does this mean I don't get to be your knight anymore?

[windeity]

As the heir, I think it is more important that my knight is worthy of being my knight. And since we are using flower crowns as a basis of worth, I am pretty sure you're fine.

[parodeity]

I should earn more than one flower crown since you like me best, then?
