[ It's only taken a few days to realize what's going on in the woods. Because Maya is a journalist and journalists are all about gathering information, she's half-tempted to check out the woods herself. But her arm is only newly out of its sling, so she's opting not to go charge into The Pit herself.

Instead, if you exit the woods, and you look as though your ass has been thoroughly kicked, you'll find this young woman waving an arm over her head to get your attention. ]

[ Good random day of August, person who Maya happens to familiar with! Or maybe she has no idea who you are, that might actually be a real possibility. But all the same, she's grinning at you and extending an arm, on which is draped no less than eight flower crowns of varying designs. ]

Take your pick! Free of charge, of course! One of these really has to bring out your eyes, right?


[ DON'T DO THE CINNAMON CHALLENGE - OPEN ]

[ Look... just. Look. She got a crate full of blue cinnamon, and now she's wandering around with her arms full of jars of the stuff, smiling wryly when she makes eye contact. ]

So I know it's not as great as fish or chicken or whatever most people ended up with, but if you want a sweet seasoning, I'd totally be willing to part with a jar!

The Flower Process - CLOSED (Mutsu)

[ Why or how they come across each other remains to be seen, but Maya is definitely well in the process of making flower crowns in the middle of a helpful flower field, so it takes her a minute to glance up. When she does, she brightens. ]

Mutsu, hey! What brings you out here? The obvious?

( In Mutsu's defense, he isn't actively looking for flower crowns or anything like that. He's been praised and called valuable enough to know that he's a very worthy sword. That said, he also isn't opposed to being told he's good. He's naturally spoiled by all of his praise.

He really was just passing by this time, though. Really. )

Maya! ( He was going to mind his own business but since there's a good face among the flowers, of course he's going to come over. ) What's that? ( Having himself a seat right in front of her. ) Nah, I was just passing by since this place is pretty popular these days, hahaha!

[ It doesn't take much of a reason for Maya to approach anyone, and although her reasoning is mostly to check and see if he's taking care of himself, she might as well also bring up another topic. Which is, mainly-- ]

[ She doesn't even think to ask if anyone else is having problems with crates of blue... substance, but Maya can still be found outside of her house with the box and a rather long-suffering look on her face that's likely out-of-place for her.

But here she is. Leaning over to sniff it, and frowning. ]

It's got to be cinnamon, but this is way too much.

[Minato, who has already taken in a huge breath of cinnamon in his own house and regretted it, has come out and about for some fresh air--

Housewarming - CLOSED (Riku)

[ It's a nice day in August, whatever day it is, and Maya is just going about her day with her still-way-too-many jars of blue cinnamon when she spots a familiar face. Not... as familiar, but close enough, and she'd wave if her arms weren't full.

Oh well, yelling works instead. ]

[It's okay, Maya. Riku would wave back if his hands weren't full either. As it is, the crate in his arms is heavy with meats and a few other small objects.

He's gotten pretty good at navigating Ruga by now, so when he hears Maya's voice, he stops walking and starts heading on over to her.]

[ It seemed easy enough. Build a boat, sail it. It's been forever since she's been allowed to try and take command of a boat, but surely? It'll be fine. It'll be great. And now she has two helpful souls and a smile.

So, do any of us actually know how to make a boat?

[ Selina, trying her best to be helpful despite the somewhat sour look on her face at the question. Maya's optimism may be contagious, but let's be honest, Selina's here to make sure these two don't get into any serious trouble gathering supplies. ]

I know how to hotwire a boat. Building one? Not so much. Maybe we should start simple, like... viewing this more as a raft building project.

Healing? [also?? whaT'S CIAO??? She looks at Maya again to see if she can spot a doctor's kit, or even bandages.] Are you a doctor?

[Okuni has a big ole bruise on the side of her face, and there are probably cuts all over her hands, and her hair is a little skewed to the side, but surely otherwise she's in a much better condition than some other people!!! (MAYBE)]

[ Joshua looks a bit startled at the jars in her arms. ]

[ Michael is usually very good at not making eye contact with anybody he does not want to make eye contact with, but - look, he's also a naturally curious person, and an armful of jars of bright blue powdery stuff is pretty darn noticeable in this gradually-less-monochrome town!

anyway, the point is that he has been caught, so he pulls his headphones down off his ears and returns the smile, just as wryly. ]

Not that's not super cool of you, but-- what is it?

[ he's seen plenty of seasonings in his short life and none of them were blue!! ]

[ Maybe she should have started there first, and Maya has the decency to at least look a little sheepish about it-- right before she goes back to beaming cheerfully. ]

7/6???ish? Flower Knighting [Maya/Minato/Caramia/Kyrie]

[ Finding Maya and Minato initially seemed like it would've been tricky, since the two of them seemed to float around to different parts of the town quite frequently. However, luckily, that isn't the case today! In fact, he quite quickly found Maya- though since they both were in Ruga, maybe that isn't too much of a surprise? Thus, she is pulled along to whatever Caramia's shenanigans are with nothing more than a "I need to borrow you for a moment! I'll explain on the way!" and then promptly... not explaining himself as he pulls her off. What a guy.

It takes him a little longer to track down Minato, but he'll happily wave him down when he's in sight, and take his hand, too, when approached. Could he have messaged the two of them to save himself the hassle of hunting them down and then dragging them around by their hands like an excited kid pulling their parents out of bed on Christmas? Could he have also just left Maya back at his house instead of pulling her along? Probably to both of those! But he forgot all about the computers in his search for nice flowers, and he might just like holding Maya's hand a bit, so instead, here he is, dragging the both of them back to his house in Ruga.

Needless to say, Kyrie's going to have to deal with the fact that he'll make quite the commotion pulling them inside when he eventually gets back home, among other things. Like the fact he has a table set up just completely covered with flowers, and surrounded by four chairs. ]

[While Aizawa considers himself pretty good at avoiding unwanted attention, even he finds himself staring at Maya when she wanders by with jars full of an unknown blue substance. He studies one of a little more closely when she speaks up, before ultimately shrugging at the suggestion.]

Sure.

[Wow, that was pretty easy. Aizawa isn't a materialistic person by any means, but at least with food there's a practical use for it.

There is one problem though.]
