[ It's awful enough that their only understanding of wolves comes from fairytales, but to see so many just come out of the woods out of nowhere... it's shocking. And Cairngorm may not be made of flesh, but that doesn't mean they aren't capable of angering these beasts, which seems to be the case in the current moment. ]
Get off!! Get off me!!!
[ They're already on the ground, squawking and very visibly freaked out, since their arm is fully within the jaws of one of these wolves. Maybe you think they're getting eaten alive, but on further inspection, they seem more grossed out than afraid, trying to yank away their arm while fearlessly pushing away at the wolves face with their free hand. ]
[ Maybe you're on the opposite end of things, getting attacked by a wolf yourself, or maybe one is stalking you that you didn't notice. Either way, before the wolf can snap it's jaws at you, there's a resounding crack followed by a howl of pain, a clatter of a few canines falling into the dirt at your feet.
Cairngorm just shakes their fist out after delivering the punch, watching as the wolf recoils a few feet away, before turning to you directly. And more belatedly, making a very 'this is so nasty' expression at the teeth littering the floor. ]
Are you hurt? It didn't bite you already, did it.
[ They can't give you the look of concern they want to, since they're busy keeping an eye on that wolf slowly getting up from getting decked... ]
[ As the week progresses, paranoia settles in and increasingly, it becomes their priority to avoid any contact with anyone that could be perceived as a threat. Which of course, leads them to want to read more about the topic, so they can better deal with future encounters - or better yet, evade wolves completely. There's a large stack in their arms while they exit the library - that is, before they knock right into you, titles like Little Red Riding Hood, Peter and the Wolf, and A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing scattering across the ground.
They seem immediately on guard, as if expecting you to be an enemy, before just crouching down to pick up the books hurriedly... surprising encounters like this are more nerve-wracking the more the week goes on. ]
Watch where you're going. I almost struck you out of surprise.
( cairn won't get bitten, but i'm good with any other prompts!! )
