[ For the most part, Maya probably doesn't look like anyone who should be fighting. But nonetheless, as soon as the wolves attack in earnest, she's holding her ground and launching a counterattack. Sadly, the Persona she has with her isn't quite equipped with the proper elemental attack, but the waves of ice freezing any advancing wolf? That seems to do the trick well enough, and for the ones that get past that, she's dual-wielding pink pistols, so it might get loud.
If you're an ally? She's calling quickly out to you-- ]
Careful, it's slippery over here!
[ And if you are, unfortunately, a werewolf?
Well. Maya won't be trying to kill you, but she's got a few other tricks up her sleeves, so engage with caution. ]
[ II. the way is clear - two days in ]
[ She can't entirely understand where this knowledge came from, but Maya's choosing to trust it. Because whatever's happening? It doesn't look like it's going to get any better on its own, and she's absolutely terrible at sitting still. She's at least opting to take advantage of the daytime hours to go rummage in the woods, which is where you'll find her. Gun in one hand (just in case), and the other hand poking and prodding all around for something, as she mutters to herself-- ]
Okay... four hours is still a reasonable amount of time not to find anything, positive thinking...
[ III. sleep is for the weak ]
[ The week is nearly over. Which is great, maybe? Except that Maya has pulled perhaps one too many all-nighters and not taken nearly enough naps during the day. That, or something knocked her out, but considering that she's uninjured and just... propped against one of the sides of a house in Ruga, it's probably just that she fell asleep.
Still holding a pink gun, so if you're going to wake her up, please do so cautiously, because she's more than prepared to defend herself when two seconds awake and that might not end well for any parties involved. ]
[ wildcard: Maya is not going to get bitten, but anything else goes! ]
[Though Izuku hasn't quite been out there as long as Maya has, it's been hours for him, too, and it's probably a good thing that he stumbles upon her now. At least if they're suffering, they can suffer together.]
What are you looking for, Amano-san? [Up close, he looks terrible, like he hasn't slept at all--because that's exactly what happened.]
I'm okay! [Ah, shoot. The last thing he wants to do is make people worry about him.] It's, um, just been frustrating trying to find what I'm looking for out here.
What's the goldenglow thing that you mentioned just now? [This is him hastily changing the subject! Very subtle.]
Oh... well, it's a plant. Presumably. I don't actually know what it looks like, but I just got this kind of... knowledge in my head that it's part of the cure.
[How about that. Yusuke, coincidentally, is also in the woods. Very gingerly exploring, looking as close at plants he passes as possible, nearly beaning his head off of a tree trunk before he stops himself and stares at it accusingly.
Then, around it and onward!
hey Maya he's wandered into your spot]
Ah. [He pauses, lifting a hand in greeting.] Hello.
More than anyone, Minato knows the value of sleep. So he just runs back to the nearest empty house, digs out a colorless blanket and drapes it over her before he settles against the wall next to her.
He won't wake her up and he won't fall asleep--he'll just keep an eye out and keep watch.]
[ It's some time before Maya stirs-- Artemis is docile, dormant, so there's no sense of danger even when she groggily realizes she's not alone and tips her head slightly to the side to look at her companion. ]
[He glances over at her immediately, though just remains sitting there comfortably, sword and Evoker both at his side in case he needs them at a moment's notice.]
I think you should maybe try to sleep a bit longer though--in an actual bed would be better. You need to be at the top of your game to stop werewolves, right?
[ He doesn't miss a step, his pace steady as he continues on, not even looking at that gun pointed at him. It's not the first time someone has pointed a gun at him, and it won't be the last. ]
[Hopefully Maya won't turn her nose up at backup that doesn't look like she should be fighting either. A short burst of gunfire sounds from a few paces behind Maya and a wolf that was getting too close for comfort goes down. It looks like Emma has finally had to use her rifle for the first time.]
Got it!
[She keeps her rifle at the ready, popping a bullet off at any wolves leaping the ice so as to deter their advancement or take them out of the equation all together.]
[ That is... definitely a small child, but you know what-- no, Maya isn't about to judge. Especially since that just saved her from a highly likely bite. ]
[With a longer range weapon compared to a pistol she isn't in the middle of the action, at least. She scans the area in front of them, trying to spot alleyways between houses or anywhere else the wolves might slip in.]]
No problem! I wish we had a little more warning before these things showed up. [Because honestly. Thanks, Awash. She points the barrel to an untouched side path as she catches motion in the shadows.] Can you ice that one?
[ Of course, the wolf is already charging by the time she can call on Artemis' power, but the wave of ice and frigid air literally freezes it in its tracks, prompting lots of pained yelping as it struggles to free itself from a path that refuses to let it. ]

Yeah-- sorry, I'm fine. I just missed out on a few nights of sleep, and that was my own fault. Thanks for looking out for me, though.
