Intro Log.

It's raining, it's pouring. The old man is snoring. He bumped his head and went to bed And he couldn't get up in the morning.

ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light. It looks like a long trip upwards, a small cylinder with walls of brick that's just a little too high to reach, even when jumping. Getting out is probably going to be a bit of a task, especially considering the water is more than cold enough to make limbs go numb. The dark makes it impossible to see much further, but the space seems large, all filled with water, but with no other way out, stone walls the only thing for an intrepid explorer to find. Oh, and to make things even better, it's raining today. Water from below (though thankfully only like, knee-deep), and water from above... how fun. But most importantly of all... you're not alone. Welcome to Awash's second intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. New characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out. Thankfully, they have some friends on the outside, this time. Once out, they'll be free to explore the various locations the Town has to offer at will. Just try not to die on any of the far-too-rickety walkways. Please feel free to ask any questions here and don't forget to greet your fellow players here!

that place sounds way better that ruga, where everything just looks really run-down and boring. honestly, it's barely been a day and i'm already missing home. [ and his mom. he misses his mom. ]

[ After some wandering, Josuke will reach the Flavo district. He kind of forgot to ask Izuku what he actually looks like, and with how he's away from the computer he can't exactly do that, so he's just going to be walking around until he finds a guy on a porch. The first guy he calls out to happens to be the wrong guy, but second time's the charm! ]

Izuku! Hey, you are Izuku right? Please don't tell me I got the wrong guy again ...

It doesn't sound impossible, which says something, but he's not sure what. He looks at her in silence with the same weirdly cheery expression for a moment, then lifts a hand to tap his cheek thoughtfully.

[ Yes, Josuke uses 'kewl' without irony. He's being completely serious. Feel free to think he's a loser.

Anyway, he's distracted for a second, thinking about how rad his life would be if he had an invisible private jet, but the slap of rain against his precious hairdo pulls him back to reality. ]

[Sick umbrella, but genital euphemisms? No, he hopes not? That response doesn't throw him at all, apparently; if anything it just makes him think that, ah, perhaps he's the serious one in this interaction.

Actually, at least one of them was about something as ordinary as geese. I don't know what happens at the end, but there's only one way to find out.

Robin... [There's a pause as Izuku goes through his ridiculously extensive, mental database of hero information.]

I don't recognize it, but... all the heroes I'm familiar with are based in Japan.

Breathe. [ annabeth's voice is crisp and steady even in the dark, although her neon orange t-shirt can probably be seen even here. her hair is light, too, blonde curls that maybe should belong to a princess instead of the demigod standing with her hands on her hips surveying the well. ]

I'm Annabeth Chase. You don't have any rope on you, do you?

[ she's as down to business as ever. ]

[And Ling--doesn't move. Shouting at him isn't persuasive enough, and he's hungry...]

I'm hungry... they don't have food services around here and my house is empty.

[It finally occurs to Prompto as he looks up that he is sure meeting a whole hell of a lot of teenagers. Where are they all coming from? Is there some kind of teenage surplus dimension he doesn't know about?]

I mean, yeah, but what should I do, just knock on doors until someone doesn't answer and squat there? I haven't exactly seen a visitor's center or a hotel or even a restaurant.

Of course I can control him! [ He may not look reliable but he is, trust him!! He's a very useful boy. ] How should I put this ... This guy here? He's basically me. Moving him around ain't that different from moving my own hands and feet.

[ Does that make sense? No? Anyway, he has a lot of confidence in his Stand's ability, because he's been using it since he was 4 years ago. If it's a toss Damian wants, he's certain he can manage it. There's still the issue of landing, though; how Josuke is going to be throwing around both a little kid and a kitten. Typically, you shouldn't be treating those two things very roughly. ]

You sure you up for this? [ Crazy Diamond will move over and try picking Damian up. He's a strong Stand, so it's effortless. ]

[Luckily Ling has good reflexes, or he'd get completely beaned in the head with a spoon, here. He manages to catch it instead, a feat that involves dodging backwards out of the way for a moment, so his precarious perch becomes even more so. But- because Elizabeth surely isn't trying to murder innocent mooches- his free hand scrambles for a hold on the window frame and he's back!!

Totally the best ending: he's still here to beg for more food. The spoon is a bonus, actually; he's already stuck it in his mouth and hums appreciatively at the flavor. When you're starving anything tastes good, etc etc.]

Good throw! [he says, spoon in mouth... hi liz.]

[He checks quickly through the items he has access to--guns, clothes, camera. That's pretty much it, and he grimaces. Of course he doesn't have anything, he was just locked up in a dungeon.]

I think my friends have all the useful stuff. A-are you gonna try to get out?

[As if just the instruction to breathe is a familiar enough anchor, Prompto picks himself carefully up.]
