Quest 51, Sinistra

[Coming by with food is something Shiho had resolved to do more often if only to make sure that Sinistra had support if he ever needed it, to make sure he never felt lonely for even a moment.

But her hand on the door is what first clues her in to the fact that Sinistra has once again lost a roommate. Frowning, she knocks first this time instead of just walking in.]


...Hey, anyone home? Delivery for a Mister Sinistra?

[ It takes him a few minutes to answer the door. He's still not accustomed to the idea of receiving visitors. It's not like he gets a lot of them here, especially now that Momo has left.

He opens the door a crack to peek out at her. Then, the door opens fully as he stares at her in mild surprise. ]

Ah. Shiho?

The one and only.

[And she's worried now.]


I thought you might like some company and I was kind of bored. [And because maybe she needs something to justify being here... she raises a bundle.]

I brought food in case you were eating things off the floor like everyone else.

Oh... is that so. [ He's surprised she chose to come here out of boredom. He doesn't consider himself particularly entertaining, but still, he steps aside for her to enter as she pleases.

The mention of food is enough to make him perk up, blue eyes wide open. ]

Did you make it...?

Quest 48, Kaoru

[Of course, neither of them are actually blues. But that's fine, isn't it?

Shiho is sitting on the bed beside Kaoru, a frown on her face even as she checks and double checks to make sure she's wearing her limiter.]

Don't fall into a feedback loop. And don't touch anything weird or do anything weird.

[She knows Shiho knows all the problems with her powers so she just holds out her hand.]

[And with that she's putting her hand in Kaoru's, reaching out and then feeling that tug and sense of displacement.]

[It's weird. The moment they touch, the world seemed to...lurch.

Then she blinked and in one instant she was staring at her own face instead of Shiho's.]

Oh. [She let go and looked down at herself.] I guess I always knew this, but your boobs really are bigger than mine.

[And since she can. She touches her (or rather, Shiho's) chest.]

Quest 48, Caramia

[It's lunchtime which is pretty much early for someone like Shiho who tries never to be awake before noon. Except what is spread over the dinner table is a selection of Shiho's lockpicks and cutters, as well as two make-shift masks.

She's still sorting through things but the moment Caramia comes into view, she's brightening up and pushing herself back into a standing position, hands on the table.]

So! How many cars have you stolen before?

[ Admittedly, Caramia isn’t used to there being life at all in the house around noon or before. The fact that he can hear any kind of noise from the kitchen was mildly alarming to begin with. Said alarm only increased when he saw what Shiho was up to. Hey? This seemed bad. ]

That’s... concerning. “How many” shouldn’t be before any question that ends with “have you stolen”... [ He couldn’t scold her too much about it, mostly because he was stuck on one teeny tiny little detail— ]

Anyway, what’s a “car”?

I needed to know your level of experience. I'm guessing it's "none". [Since he doesn't even know what a car is. But hey, that's fine in this situation!]

A car is that thing that one guy was telling us all not to steal on the forums a while back. It's usually got four wheels and runs with an engine.

[ Yeah! Just take your dad out to steal a random car. It's fine, surely there's one around here somewhere if you squint hard enough. ] Why... are you asking? Do I seem like the type to do something like that?

Quest 49, Minato

[Shiho had greatly underestimated just how embarrassing it would be to be in another person's body. Especially when it was her boyfriend's body. Even worse when it's been a whole entire day and there still doesn't seem to be any change.

Furrowing her brow (or rather, Minato's and probably ruining his calm, unruffled image), she leans back against the chair, staring up at the ceiling before turning to Minato:]


.....Do you feel like you're changing back yet?

[After how pleasant and peaceful swapping powers was, Minato was sure that swapping bodies wouldn't be bad at all.

He was sure...

... He was very wrong. Time drags on and on and on without any sign of them swapping back, and Minato's left with his (with Shiho's) hands firmly pressed to the couch on either side of his legs, rigid as he tries to not do or think about anything that would embarrass Shiho immensely.

Or himself. That too.]

[... This was a mistake.]

...Sorry, Shiho. I thought this would go a lot smoother...

You don't have to apologize. I have to take some responsibility for this too.

[Starting with the fact that she's very tense right now and doesn't know how to help put him at ease? It's.... so strange to try and comfort Minato when he's in her body.

But she's going to make an attempt anyway! With a little pout, she reaches out to hold his (her own??) hand.]

[It's honestly kind of surreal to see a pout like that on his own face... but Minato musters up the best smile he can, a rueful expression despite himself, taking her hand quietly. He can feel her own nervousness in his body, which ironically helps him calm down a little. They're in this together, right?]

Sorry... I just don't want to mess anything up.

[He doesn't... want to do anything weird while he's in Shiho's body!! Also, Shiho's body is important.]

It's going to be fine, though. It's... both of us, you know? We can handle this.

Quest 49, Shen Qingqiu

[Against her own better judgement, here they are at the library and ready to swap bodies. The last time this had ended up in her stuck in Minato's body for days.... but..... well, a quest is a quest and more importantly:]


If you do anything weird or ruin my reputation in any way, I'll know. [And her tone definitely implies she would do something drastic in return.]

[ He holds his hands up in surrender. Really, switching bodies with a teenage girl makes him a little anxious. A quest was a quest -- he wondered why she wanted to be an old man, anyway.

As much as he would have liked to argue the point, it is difficult. In the end, he feels like the only recourse he has is to say: "yes." ]

It is not something that anyone can hide. [ Don't go wild in his own body. It's built with more than a few cannons attached to it. ] My body has its own spiritual energy ... I'd say that it's relatively similar to Akashi Kaoru's. [ Close enough. ]

[There's no exact... reason, really. But he seems like he'd be careful and not get her eaten by a banshee so she chose him.]

More or less. [ If you can bullshit it, you can dream it. But he does think that even with Airplane-bro not knowing much about cultivation that he shouldn't go overly crazy. It feels like something that'll lead to qi deviation, or self destruction. But he doubts that Shiho will do anything too crazy so decides warning against it is silly.

As much of a menace as she makes herself out to be, she also has come off as very responsible and kind-hearted. So, he can trust his body in her hands. ]

The mind is a dangerous place, huh? Well, we already know that... [ Sorry, again, about my shitty heart. ]

Quest 48, Xie Lian

[One jar of leftover honey, a couple of ("borrowed") eggs and Shiho is outside Xie Lian's home, knocking on the door.]

Hey! Time to learn to take care of yourself better! Heyy!

[That voice certainly sounds familiar...it doesn't take long for Xie Lian to open the door, looking confused--honestly the sight of Shiho's inventory isn't making him any less confused.]

Shiho? Er, what is all this for?

You haven't done this before, right? Since we have to share experiences and all, I thought we might as well pick something that'll also help you and doesn't involve you using up your luck in a heist.

[What is anyone supposed to do when a random innocent is standing at the harbour?
What if said random innocent is a roommate you are both fond and exasperated by in equal measures?

A normal person would probably greet them first.

But what Shiho is going to do is come up behind him, plant both hands on his back and then shove because she's a terrible daughter.]
