Food Party

Be it one heard of the feast from the forum, by word of mouth, or just got drawn to the commotion, finding the feast wasn't hard to do. A little house in Ruga had all of the furniture moved outside, sans some tables and chairs-- some probably even from other empty houses to make a little dining area. "Little" being the keyword, but it wasn't like they had restaurant venues to work with. At least there was someplace to sit, right? Assuming it didn't get too popular, of course, there was always the chance of sitting outside. It was a nice day today, after all!

I. Mingle

Looks like it'll be a while before anyone's getting any food, but hey! There sure are people around here to hang out with! Besides, they did mention the chefs could use some company too, right? Or one can decide to be that weird kid at a party that holds their cup of punch in the corner and sips occasionally. Only they didn't have punch-- just water. Sorry, weird kid.

II. Cooking

Welcome to the kitchen! It had a completely different atmosphere here-- tables filled with food that was meant to be chopped or cooked or both. And, of course, the two (for now) diligent cooks working with old stoves. They're open to helping hands, or maybe just a little conversation? How about a bit of influence on what to cook, or maybe being a taste tester? Maybe one might even bring them something else to cook?

III. Feast

While some may argue that this didn't even come close to a feast, it was clear that the most was definitely made from what they had. Could anyone really complain in their situation? Deer meat, apples, potatoes, peppers, water... This may well have been a luxury at this point. Besides, show a little respect for the chefs! They worked hard on this.

I'll hold you to it, then. [ He gave their hands... pinkies... whatever, a small shake before releasing it and gesturing to the plates of food. You know, looking at it, there was quite a lot for what little food they had to work with. Caramia was... a little proud of that fact, actually. ]

Help yourself, then. Hopefully, in the future, I'll be able to make you a proper meal, but you should definitely eat. To help keep your energy up, you know? [ Plus there was the whole "you need to eat to live" thing. ]

[Food...!! Minato also lets go when Caramia does, instead picking up his utensil.]

'More than enough' might be a stretch, but certainly enough to feed who's here. You should be keeping your energy up while you're here, anyway. It's important.

[ Especially since it's so cold, and because there's apparently a lot more dangerous things in the forest than originally thought. Whatever the case, people needed to be eating. ]

I'm glad you think so, Minato! Even if I don't have a lot to work with, it's still quite fun to cook. Maybe someday I can have you try what I can really cook.

I'll be really excited for it. That sounds amazing, when you put it like that. Do you have some specialties?

Mmmh... not... really? Ah, soups, maybe?? I'm really good at those. Baking is my weakest point, but I wouldn't necessarily say I'm bad at that, either. I made baked spasagna once. There weren't even any leftovers, which is the best kind of compliment, honestly.

Do you have anything you like specifically, signore? Or, maybe your favorite flavor? Spicy, sweet, bitter...?

Oh... no not really.

[Anything he super prefers? Nope. He's been an orphan since the age of 6, without always a particular source of food to have.

He's not picky.]

I like pretty much everything, honestly. But having that sort of range in your cooking is honestly really impressive, Caramia-san.
