QUEST 43 - Val

[At this rate, Percy's stopped bothering to even ask if Val wants to do things with him and just assumes the answer will be "yes." Nothing will be as bad as the colordraining quest, he thinks, and so he heads out to track down the vampire. After their adventures in the woods Percy's had a lot on his mind but the idea of trying another skillset is interesting enough.

There's a short knock on Val's door, and when he opens it Percy barely waits before he speaks up.]

How do you feel about water?

[He's not at all put off by Percy's sudden question. Percy's assumption isn't wrong either. Val is very willing to do anything just as long as somebody asks him about it.]

What about water?

Did you get a chance to read the quests this month? [That's helpful and Specific.] I figured if we're doing any of them, you're one of the few people I'd trust with my powers.

You're speaking of the power swapping quest?

I'm honored. [He sounds sincerely touched. Percy really trusts him that much?] If you'd like to try, I would be willing. How do we do this?

Yeah. [There's a hopeful smile. Despite the fact he'll be doing this with two people besides Val, Val was absolutely the first person he thought of.] You've seen them in action and...I trust you to be honest about how it feels and figure out what the point of the quest is with me. I feel like this is important.

[BUT. GOOD QUESTION.] I have no idea how to do this though. I'm kind of wondering if it's like the color draining quest though.

QUEST 42 - Maya

[Once the quests go up, Percy reads the forum briefly before turning around and sending Maya a direct message.]

I have to assume it means "don't go picking on nice friendly demons who love people".

In which case, that sounds easy enough!

[That's all he says though and he closes his laptop, grabbing Riptide in pen form and heading out of Bluo toward Flavo and the woods. He's maybe a little excited to fight, and he's also making good on his promise to see Maya more. What could go wrong? He'll be pacing back and forth as he waits by the time she arrives, but when he hears her approach he looks up and grins. His eyes are still gray which means he hasn't fixed that issue, but whatever.]

Someday we'll do a quest that doesn't involve the woods, but why change a good thing? [Hi Maya.]

Maya smiles in return though, raising a hand in greeting. ]

I think the woods probably share your opinion. At least it's not telling us to fight demons in the town properly.

[Again, Percy doesn't think anything of dragging Val out into the woods on a quest but simultaneously...]

You're sure you're up for slaying demons? I know you've done it before back home but these are probably different.

[A little late to ask given they're at the edge of the woods, but whatever.]

Why do you think it would be an issue?

[Val's killed more people than he can really remember. Most of those people were other demons, but a lot of them tried to kill him first.]

We don't know what the demons are like? And I don't know, I'm just checking. [Look. He's maybe being polite.]

QUEST 43 - Damian

[Gods. He's going to maybe regret this, but simultaneously he wants to see what Damian does with a quest like this. He's not sure how the exchange will work, but he needs to share some things with him anyway. It's why on this fine day he's sending Damian a quick message.]

QUEST 41 - NATALIE

[There's a momentary reprieve from the usual bullshit that happens in Chroma. He finally nixed the fish tail and he finds himself able to walk without AGONYYYYY, so Percy's out and about exploring the town and taking a headcount. He's gotten the sense that new people crawled out of the well and while he's hopeful for someone he recognizes he's not counting on it.

Then again, he does find himself stumbling upon someone familiar not long after and he tilts his head in thought.]

Natalie? [Crap, wait, what if she doesn't remember him? Well that's fine, Percy's been on the other end of that song and dance and while it sucks it's not the worst thing in the world. But it's fine. Maybe.]

[When she comes across him, she's wandering through the town to see if much has changed in terms of colors. It's much easier to do that during the moments she's not stuck in a ball gown, but she's distracted from the task when she hears his voice - not that it's an unwelcome distraction.

There's a hint of a smile before it's gone, and she crosses her arms.]

Look at that, you didn't disappear while I was gone. I guess the town realized it needed to keep someone around for any mutant bee issues that might arise.

Trust me, I've been trying. [Is that a joke? It's hard to say. He jogs up to her to close the distance, but at least there's a sheepish grin in place. Gray eyes flick over to her face. At least she remembers then. That's good.]

Shockingly, I actually would believe you. Although that might just be wishful thinking that the mutant bee problem has been solved once and for all.

CASTLE CRASHERS - Natalie, Izuku and Damian

[Scenario heeeere.]

[Getting to the castle itself had been kind of a pain in the ass, but once Percy was there and realized there was too much ground to cover he started to seek out those he trusted. He couldn't find Valvatorez at the moment, but he had a few others in mind that would be of use in order to check out the castle for anything that might be of use for curing the cursed.

Luckily for him, he didn't have to go too far before he spotted someone familiar ahead. Pocketing Riptide in its pen form, he's dashing ahead to touch the shoulder of a friend, spinning them around and not even thinking of the fact they may be cursed already.]

Hey. Have you gone very far yet?

[She's been trying to find the source of the vines, and it's led her to the edge of the town. It also means that she's fairly focused, and the contact comes as a surprise. Luckily, she doesn't back into any of the thorns, but she does raise her hands defensively before realizing who it is and breathing out a sigh.]

Jesus, man, don't sneak up on me like that when there's a creepy thorn invasion going on!

Jackson should count himself lucky we won't have to amputate his hand. [Damian really is Batman's son, shifting out of the shadows. He's not in the Robin suit, but he is strapped to the teeth with preparation. A small, hand-made axe in one hand, and a shortbow with a sewn-together quiver of arrows.
