[It doesn't take Minato long to shoot Noctis a message over the forum--and then he'll wait for Noct at the edge of the woods. After all, he knows Noct is pretty good with his abilities...and that Noct and Prompto have demons back home (right?).

This seems like a pretty good opportunity to get it done together.

So he just taps the toe of his shoe against the ground as he waits, peacefully.]

[Percy's getting a forum message (a casual Want to try that power swap quest?), and then here's Minato, heading on over to knock at his door.

KNOCK KNOCK, PERCY.]

[Yeah, Shiho is just getting a forum message from a familiar color:]

Hey, Shiho-chan, I have kind of a weird question but... do you want to know a bit more about me and my Personas?

[Jion, on the other hand, is someone Minato's going to just casually bump into while they're wandering around town--but he blinks when he does, tilting his head.]

Jion-san, hey.

[A beat.]

Do you have something on your mind?

[Like, perhaps, a quest?]

[Minato was honestly just minding his own business.

When suddenly, he is a frog. Naturally this is very alarming and uncomfortable, but eventually Minato is just left a pile of sleepy frog, snoozing tucked against a wall. Seems like he got over the frog thing, or decided he would turn back eventually.

Help, Okuni.]

[Uhhh...]

Are you sure about this, Maya-nee?

[He's glad she's so gung-ho about it, but he is Concerned.

[For this one, they are just... hanging out.

Minato has no idea Ryan's obtained some new strength or anything--he's just chill and content to hang out with him.]

There's someone I'd like for you to meet at some point, Ryan-san.

[ He's been thinking about ... nothing. Absolutely nothing. He was just totally spacing out. And it's obvious in the way he looks ever so slightly panicked for a moment. Is there something important he should have been thinking about? Been considering? ]

Uhhhhhhhhhhm. [ A slightly nervous chew at his lip before he takes a stab: ] I was thinking about the, uh ... quests?

[How else would you approach this other than casually? Percy immediately opens the door, a half-grin in place as soon as he sees Minato.]

Hey dude. [Give him a second to ponder.] Think we should take this outside?

[ Nero stops at the edge of the forest when Minato speaks up. It's true that she's not a blue, far from it, but she couldn't afford to let her skills get rusty, and she's not keen on the thought of demons lurking in the forest either. She looks at him. ]

...Is that a warning, or an unsubtle plea for me to take you along?

... Is that a trick question...?

[It seems less messy that way? Just in case something goes weird and wrong. Has Minato explained to Percy yet about the Evoker? Oh well.]

So I guess...we just have to try to swap powers, probably. Weird things like this usually work when it's a quest.

[You nailed it, Jion, that was fabulous.

Minato just nods, because that seems totally reasonable to him. The quests just happened, so of course Jion's thinking about them!!

Oh, yeah? Did any of them catch your eye?

[He shouldn't even be surprised that of all people, Nero is pretty okay with charging into the woods to tackle demons. Just from what he knows of her, that seems to fit...

He tilts his head.]

No, it's definitely a warning... though I guess if you're determined to go, I'll come along.

The woods are just way too dangerous alone.

[ He breathes a not-that-subtle sigh of relief that that seems to have been the correct (?) answer. ]

Um, well. There was the demon hunting one, right? Although I'm kinda nervous about that one. Then the frog one, I guess I'd be okay with that, but I'm not that excited to do it just yet, maybe later. And the fairy godmother one, I'll probably try that, and uh, the last one ... Oh, the power swap.

[ There's a significant pause there, and Jion tilts his head in thought. ]

I'm pretty curious about that one, I guess.

Yeah, for the quest. If you're up for it, we could swap. I feel like it'd be interesting to get to know a bit better what we can both do, you know?

[he thinks so now, anyway, but he has no idea.]

... You just seem so excited.

[Oh. Minato supposes that there's probably something to that; even with how little he knows about Jion and his body, he's still nor really normal, right?]

instead of that happening, Okuni materializes out of the shadows like the evil she inherently is, reaching down to scoop up snoozing Minato the frog.]

My, it didn't take long to find you at all. [she gives him an APPROVING PAT for making Okuni's day that much easier, apparently...] I wish all people turned frogs were like you!

[Oh god.

Suddenly he is scooped right on up by Okuni, and he blinks but doesn't even really bother squirming. Does Minato even have self-preservation issues? We just don't know.

There's now a sleepy frog flopped in her hand.]

[ She sizes up Minato for a few moments, hands on her hips (she doesn't seem to be carrying a weapon, but he's seen her Aestus Estus before in that ice palace, so it shouldn't be cause for concern). Then, she nods. It's true that there's power in numbers for an unknown situation. Whether one is exploring a new Singularity, a new floor in the Labyrinth of the Moon Cell, or these uncharted forests, the principles of battle remain the same. ]

Very well. I will not turn down your assistance. Are you able to hold your own, or are you practically a helpless babe?

[ If he were a magus (or similar), it'd make things easier. Just saying. ]

[Okuni turns floppy frog Minato around in her hands as if checking that Minato is indeed a sleeping frog and not, you know,

A DEAD ONE!!!!!

But he seems to be breathing, so now satisfied, Okuni tucks sleepy Minato on top of her BIG OLE HAIR somehow trusting in the power of her hair to somehow keep Minato in place for this next part --]

I'm going to be busy for a second, so try not to fall off! I'll be very annoyed if you do.

Okuni finding the sturdiest, tallest tree in Chroma and then scaling up its branches like a studious squirrel........... She goes at this with half her usual speed because she doesn't want Minato to... FALL TO HIS DEATH

but she's also still climbing up a tree with a SLEEPY FROG IN HER HAIR so who knows, that could definitely still happen]
