Noct - Demon-hunting

[It doesn't take Minato long to shoot Noctis a message over the forum--and then he'll wait for Noct at the edge of the woods. After all, he knows Noct is pretty good with his abilities...and that Noct and Prompto have demons back home (right?).

This seems like a pretty good opportunity to get it done together.

So he just taps the toe of his shoe against the ground as he waits, peacefully.]

[ Noctis comes by less than a minute after, thrilled to have Minato partnering up with him to hunt demons -- and he's pretty interested in what Minato can do, too, considering the last time they'd fought together and Minato had shot himself in the head and all that.

He's smiling when he sees him, jogging up to his friend. ]

Hey. You're looking good.

[Minato just offers him a casual thumbs up in response.]

Thanks, you too. It's good to see you.

[Even though it feels like they only get together to beat up monsters... hm, weird trend. Oh well, no big deal.]

How've you been lately, anyway?

[ it's ok, one day they'll have nap playdates and it'll be the best thing ever. he's falling into step beside him, contemplating that question -- it's not like anyone to ask how he is, so to hear that kind of question warrants just that little bit more thought. ]

Could be better. [ he shrugs lightly. ] Could be worse. What about you? What's new?

But, well... for now, he just tilts his head, contemplative.]

I've been fine. Nothing too exciting to report, honestly. [Minato, you just got a girlfriend, and swapped powers with a bunch of people, and yet what you focus on is--]

I got a new charger for my mp3 player from the wish quest.

Noctis raises his brows at him in surprise, because Minato always has been lowkey and gentle, soft and mild and really very understated. He's not sure if more's gone on, but it feels rude to push so hard so early, right? ]

Yeah? [ He's interested, anyway. Music! ] Does it work?

[!! He's so excited about it too, if in his own chill, lowkey way.]

It's a pain in the butt to not be able to charge things here, but... it's a hand charger, so it doesn't depend on electricity.

I guess... [...] It's kind of a small wish. But it made me happy even so.

That's the only thing that matters.

[ It doesn't matter if it's a small wish, as long as it makes him happy. Noctis smiles now, gently nudging him before they head towards where he's pretty sure they'll stumble across some demons. ]

Honestly? I like everything.

But upbeat dance music especially. Alternative stuff, techno... rap music too. It's amazing what people can do.
