t seems like just another day in this place. It's chilly, but not miserable, and there's a bit of holiday cheer in the form of a few of those trees people have managed to decorate.
Of course...there's also the shades, but who cares about those?
They wander, drifting too and fro, following their usual, typical lives as if they have no idea that they're not longer alive, no longer in their own proper home. They walk over the frozen lake in Flavo as if it's not even there, open doors that no longer exist, and settle into rooms that are nothing but rubble.
They're living in a past that only they can see, but perhaps you can see a bit more from watching them?
Only... maybe don't spend too much time with them, lest you start seeming too much like a ghost yourself.

But, understandable as it is, it's still a bit of a bummer, to stumble upon that closed door. ]
Ah, such a shame. I was hoping we could spend some time alone.
[ This is where they have most of their dates, after all. ]
no subject
[Especially since they sometimes walk straight through. It's pretty creepy when that happens...
Still, he would like some alone time with Akechi, too. Hmm...]
We might have to settle for moderately less populated.
no subject
I suppose it's worth giving it a try. [ He gives a look over Akira's shoulder, towards the closed door. ] How populated was the cafe?
[ It's... probably not too quiet, given it seems like it used to be a store of some sort, but he'd rather deal with ghosts than real prying eyes. ]
no subject
It might not be so bad once the sun goes down.
[Then all the ghosts move back to their homes.]
no subject
[ And he really means it. The house where he and Lupin live in now seems to have been home to a whole family, complete with a pair of children bustling with energy and an elderly member who showers them with affection and what he can only assume are baked treats, considering her frequent incursions to the kitchen area. Akechi finds it haunting in a whole different way.
... ah, there he goes, getting lost in thoughts again. Better snap back to reality. ]
It shouldn't be much longer until sunset, though. Do you wish to wait until then?
no subject
Sure, we can just wait it out.
[Except it’s a little cold outside, so he turns back to the door, opening it and then turning back to usher Akechi inside like a true gentleman.]
After you.
no subject
I hope you're not trying to imply I'm the woman in this relationship. Because, if you are--
[ A pause and he moves closer, as though making his way inside the cafe but stopping before Akira for a whispered: ]
--I'm afraid you'll find I'm not much of a proper lady.
[ And just like that, with his own implications hanging in the air and a falsely demure smile on his face, he steps inside, waiting for Akira to catch on to it. ]
no subject
Akira grins, a little pep in his step as he follows Akechi in, ignoring the ghosts still milling around. At least they seem to ignore his couch, since there used to be a shelf there and not something to sit on.]
Come on.
[He reaches out to take Akechi's hand, pulling him in the direction of the couch.]
I'm not much of a gentleman, either.
no subject
In that case, do you mind if I try something new?
[ And while he does willingly let Akira pull him towards the back, and even places a kiss on his knuckles as though reinforcing his please, it's permission he doesn't really wait for; instead, the second they're close enough to the couch, Akechi uses his free hand to push Akira towards the cushions, not with so much force that it could hurt him from impact, but enough to get his message across. ]
Do correct me if I'm wrong-- [ He starts, as he steps closer and leans in, still towering over Akira. ] --but I'm under the impression you like this sort of... treatment?
no subject
He does like this kind of treatment, though it's embarrassing to admit it.]
I... can't say I'm against it.
[He's smiling, though, excited.]
no subject
[ And because Akechi is so good at expanding on Akira's few words, he can't help but say it out loud, a victorious smirk that borders on mischievous playing on his lips. ]
To be honest, I'm not very comfortable in this sort of role. [ Well, not as the role he's already playing, anyway, constantly, the ever pleasant boy who wouldn't dare hurt a fly. Even when he's true to himself, it all has to be yet another act. ] But, as long as it makes you happy...
[ He places his hands on the wall for support, each on one side of Akira's head, then half climbs on the couch, with just one knee between Akira's legs. Trapping him in, with no real intention to harm him.
Yet. ]
I suppose it's worth trying to play the part.
[ Worth showing that glimpse of his true self. ]
no subject
He wants to give himself up to it.]
You're being pretty convincing to me.
[His voice comes out a little breathy, and more than a little light, as he leans toward Akechi, with an unspoken request for a kiss. As the captive, all he can do is beg, after all.]
no subject
Akira's breathy plea is answered with lips and teeth, just enough to add bite to it, add heat to Akechi's ever cool and composed exterior. Being able to act according to his real wants, not having to pretend even for this little while, over something so small... it's liberating. A feeling he could certainly get used to, with the added bonus of having Akira all but melt under his control. ]
I always do try my best to succeed, you see. [ Said between a kiss and a last tub at Akira's bottom lip, before he leans back, red fixed on grey. ] Although I wouldn't want to go too far and do something you wouldn't like, so...
[ And then he slides in that little bit closer, prying Akira's legs further apart with that knee. ]
Perhaps you should... instruct me?
[ Pretty words for saying Akira should beg him some more, really. ]
no subject
But if he wants this, he has to pull himself together and do it right. So he takes a deep, slow breath and tries to get a handle on his thoughts and emotions.
Tries.]
Maybe you should start by... getting this shirt off me. However you can.
[He really doesn't have enough clothes to start encouraging Akechi to rip them, but... well, this is just a peasant shirt he found in the town. No big deal, right?]
no subject
However I can, hmm...?
[ For a moment, Akechi considers grabbing a knife from the small selection they keep at the cafe, but that would mean leaving his station and Akira unattended, and that wouldn't be conducive to the illusion of having him trapped. Plus, a knife might be too much for a first move, considering his Pleasant Boy facade and all-- although definitely something to keep in mind, once he and Akira have had more time to get used to this... other side of their relationship.
So he leans in to press kisses on Akira's, starting with his lips, briefly, then moving on to his jaw, his neck, his collarbone... He's meticulous in his care and hungry in his actions, though it's all working as a calculated distraction to keep Akira in a dazed state, as he slowly slides one hand down his hair and the side of his face and eventually rest on one side of his collar...
As his teeth latch on to the other. And then tug on it, hard, ripping it open a few inches down the length of his shirt.
He hums, spares Akira a look from underneath his lashes. ]
Did you mean something like this...?
no subject
That... was one of the sexiest things Akira has ever seen.
His eyes are captivated as he watches Akechi's every move, not caring as his shirt is ripped. He'd rip a thousand shirts in exchange for more of this, after all.]
Y-yeah... that was pretty good.
[He raises his arms and pulls his ripped shirt the rest of the way off, getting rid of anything between himself and the heat of Akechi's body. He's flushed along his face and down to his chest, visible even in the dimmer light of the cafe.]
What do you want to do?
[To him.]
