t's a regular morning here in the Town. The sun isn't shining at all, snow is falling like crazy, and...there may be the sounds of shouts coming from the well, thoroughly muffled.

Your guess is about as good as the rest of ours. [Hm.] All of us showed up without warning and we haven't figured out why except the whole "restore color to the town" thing. I don't know if you've noticed but we've got some weird combinations around here.

I hate mysteries. A cove I met when I got here said folks at home won't miss us, but... [Her words trail off as she makes a frustrated, helpless gesture]
So how's the color thing work anyway?

It's sort of like a digital notebook? [Wait, does Beka know what those are? Just how far back and away is she from?] All of us have them so we can communicate with each other and post messages back and forth. Typing can be a little tricky but you get used to it after a while. It's also how we learn about the quests each month that help bring color back to this place.

Folk keep saying stuff about quests and color and such, but I'm no mage or anything. How's someone like me supposed to help bring color to things?

Wish that was all it was. But I suppose there's not much worth in fighting against it.

Some people have been fighting against it by not doing anything about it, but most of us figured there's nothing else to do here so why not? The quests aren't bad and this place is huge enough to explore if that's something you're into.
