[At least they've killed multiple harpies so it's a little less of a problem. On the other hand, Dave will have to fly a bit further down the cliffs to find John who's sitting on his ass and glaring at the sky like it was its fault he zipped off into the ether. Dave appears in his line of vision though and he grins instead.]

Was that all of them?

It was enough of them. [ dave rolls his eyes, letting his sword go back into his sylladex before he extends a hand down to help john up. ] I think you need to practice that pogo hammer schtick more if you plan to make it a regular thing, dude?

I am maybe a little out of practice when it comes to that trick, especially since Vrillyhoo usually has a finisher. [He dismisses the hammer though and takes Dave's hand, bouncing to his feet.] I guess then...we passed the quest, maybe? How the fuck are we supposed to know?

Were you ever in practice? [ eyebrows raised. he'll go back to the other topic in a second because he wants...to know...if john ever mastered his hammery pogo thing or if he literally just gets bounced every time he does it.

dave would usually assume the mastery of anyone using a thing but it's john and john egbert would probably just keep doing the thing that bounced him off into neverland. ]

I've been getting better! I fought off a bunch of stuff by myself before. [He's making a face because how rude, Dave.] But I haven't had the pogo hammer for a while so I have not used that move so much. I was sort of hoping for a roll but it looks like I didn't hit them hard enough for that.

Because turning into the breeze wouldn't have killed them? [Also what if he triggered the other thing?? He knows that's not possible but with Dave's timetravel acting weird he's not taking too many chances here. Other than he's still flying, using the wind, and he turned into the breeze five minutes ago to dodge.

I have no clue how we tell if we succeeded. Its hard to gauge objective success when you aren't climbing your halfway fictitious echeladder.

I'll believe it when I see it, dude. And if you aren't careful I'll tell Guren you need someone who'll challenge you to utilize your stuff - but yeah, sounds good. You didn't get cut at all that I saw.

Ugh, don't. I am still working with Ochako and Shouto and that will be enough. I did fine. Are you good? The harpies missed right?

I guess so. I'm learning how to work with other people with different powers so that's a thing. [But satisfied with Dave's lack of injuries, he begins heading away from the cliffs, waiting for Dave to follow.]

Yeah! We haven't ever had a chance to before because we were never in the same place, but now we could. That would be awesome.

Well, we spent all that cash on them. Fake gaming cash but still? I only ever used mine and Jade's and then my solo ones. Ivories in the Fire is gathering dust.
