[It's comfortable, sharing the heat like this. Izuku closes his eyes, nosing at Shouto's shoulder.]

Mm. Yeah, that one. I knew the town and the shadows could take color from us, but I didn't know we could do it to each other. Not sure if I like knowing that it's possible.

[Especially when they know what happens to the person getting their color drained.]

[There's nothing as cozy as sharing a blanket with Izuku. He'd be happy to do this particular quest every day.]

Do you think we could've always done it?

[Did they have to mean to do it? Is it only possible because of the quest? There's a lot of questions and very few answers.]

It's possible. [Warm and cozy as he's feeling, the topic at hand has him wide awake. They've been lucky; no one in town has really tried to cause trouble for others yet, or he'd be really worried about this new knowledge. Being able to take away someone's essence sounds...horrible.]

I don't think any of us actually thought we could do it, unless we had a similar quirk back home.

[glaciers]

[He hums softly as he considers it. Draining away colors.... He's already had to deal with Izuku being being colorless. Not again.]

Don't let people drain your color. I've already had to deal with you colorless.

That copycat guy from 1-B can take quirks for a little while, but it's not the same thing, right?

Wasn't planning on it. [He's worried Shouto enough, and doing it for the sake of a quest sounds like a bad idea all around.]

I don't think it's the same. When our color gets taken, it takes time for it to come back. When Monoma-kun copies quirks, the person he copied it from can still use theirs, too.

[glaciers]

Good.

[What he really means is "thank you for not worrying me even more." But for now he kisses Izuku's temple.]

Does anybody have a quirk stealing ability?

[Guess who doesn't know anything about All for One?]

[Wrapped around each other as they are, the way Izuku stills is very, very hard to miss.]

There's...one. [His voice sounds a little strained, and he hasn't relaxed at all since he tensed up.] He's the only one I know of.

[glaciers]

[He rubs his warm hand across Izuku's back, trying to get him to relax just a little bit.]

Do you want to talk about it?

[It's silence for a second, then two. Then, finally, Izuku sighs and lets some of the tension in his body bleed out.]

You've seen him before. All For One... the villain that All Might fought at Kamino Ward.

[glaciers]

I remember him.

... How do you know what his quirk is?

[inheritance]

....All Might told me about him.

[Though Shouto probably wouldn't be surprised that All Might's been sharing this kind of information with him, Izuku also knows it's...pretty suspicious. And probably just confirms his dad theory even more. Sigh.]

[glaciers]

[There's a long pause as he considers this. Is this a case of father-son shared nemesis? Or is there something else going on here.]

How long has All Might been fighting that villain?

[Izuku squirms a little. It's unnerving, just how close to All Might's (and his) secret Shouto's questions are getting.]

...years. It wasn't really common knowledge, though. [Now Izuku curls into himself, forcing the words out.] I'm really sorry, Shouto... I don't think I can say much more than that.

[glaciers]

If it wasn't common knowledge, how did you know about it?

[But Shouto won't pry more than that for the moment.]

Every time I learn more about the two of you, the more suspicious it sounds, you know?

...All Might told me... [As he says it, Izuku smiles sheepishly, knowing that it's just sounding more and more suspicious the more he puts it that way, like Shouto said.]

I, um... might have accidentally found out about All Might's other form before Kamino Ward. He explained some things to me when that happened.

[glaciers]

[Every single time he learns more, the more Shouto questions their relationship.]

Did he think you were gonna spill that secret? Doesn't sound much like you.

[inheritance]

[There's a pause as Izuku rubs at his cheek.]

That's the thing... he didn't know who I was when I found out.

[glaciers]

So he told you about his backstory with All for One? Because you found out about his other form?

How long have you known each other?

[inheritance]

Yeah... I stuck around too long and he transformed right in front of me.

It was the first time we met. [Izuku blushes, looking extremely embarrassed now.] I didn't know if I'd get a chance to talk to All Might in person like that again, so I ... might've been really persistent in tagging along with him.

[That's an understatement.]

[glaciers]

What did you do? Follow him all the way home?

[inheritance]

[CLOSE, Shouto.]

Noooot exactly. He was on the way to delivery something to the police station. I might've... grabbed on when he jumped.

[Peak embarrassment!! Izuku finally gives into the urge to pull the blanket they're sharing over his head and hide. GOODBYE.]

... You grabbed him?

[inheritance]

[Izuku doesn't even answer, but the blanket moves when he nods his head.

He knows!! It sounds bad...]

[glaciers]

You couldn't just talk to him at home?

[inheritance]

[He peeks out from under the blanket.]

I don't think All Might would take some stranger into his home immediately... and I wouldn't have dared to ask at the time either.

[Apparently, grabbing onto the guy is less intrusive.]
