Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter." | |
Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Hopefully they can get a hand out! For more information, please go here! |

Oh. Guren turns casually, hands in the pockets of his military uniform, to stare at All Might. Wait a second... He's definitely seen him before. No, not him, but... pictures of him? Merchandise. Merchandise of him, in Izuku's room, for the brief time they'd returned to their homes.
Hm.]
Well, I lead the defense force. [He points to the little notice on the community board that shows about that.]
no subject
[He looks back at the board, maybe he should have memorised that name when he read it, oops.]
...Guren Ichinose? I am All Might! It's a pleasure to meet you!
no subject
[Thanks Guren. He means it fondly.]
Did you have some questions?
no subject
[He clamps a hand over his own mouth, glancing over his shoulder to check no one else heard. A number one hero shouldn't badmouth coworkers, even if it is kind of true...]
Ahem! He can be kind of scary, so... Can you tell me more about the defence force? What kind of villains are you up against in this town?
no subject
[It's Aizawa, he got it!! Guren loves that reaction, but alright, he can take even this seriously. Let's see... villains, really?]
No villains. None in sight, anyway. There's one user on the forums that gives us quests, and there's no real way of knowing if they're the one responsible for us showing up here or not. Other than that... it's monsters from the forest or the water. Most of the time, we're the ones told to go hunt them. Other times, they come into the town to attack.
I created the defense force to help encourage a group of people that didn't know each other well to create bonds and learn about each other. Better understanding means better teamwork, and it means we can take on whatever comes at us that much better.
no subject
[He punches the air, and flashes him a grin. It'll be an interesting change of pace from smashing villains, at any rate, so it takes him barely a matter of seconds to decide.]
How do I sign up?
no subject
[He jabs a thumb at himself.] I recently assigned everyone to squads to encourage teamwork and bonding between members. They'll switch up in a couple of months, but I can add you to one, if you want.
[There's no need to screen this guy— he knows Izuku well enough, after taking him on as his own student. He trusts his judgement.]
no subject
[Taking on the most dangerous villains, sticking his neck out the most, minimising casualties by not involving others. That's what he's used to, even though he knows how to cooperate with a team just fine.]
But, if you need any help whipping the squads into shape, I'm your man! I recently became a teacher of Foundational Hero Studies, [emphasis on 'recently'] so I can teach your defenders a little about heroics, too.
no subject
[Teamwork is the stress word here!! He's encouraging friendship, that's his method.]
no subject
[...and either be great at this or fail horribly, with little in-between...]
no subject
[He's already not sure what to think of All Might's teaching skills from what Izuku said, but he guesses he'll find out... Either way, the teamwork thing should benefit everyone!! Bonding.]
no subject
[He gives him a playful military salute. Is he taking any of this seriously, who knows.]
I heard some of my students are in your force as well. How have they been doing? Have they been staying out of trouble? [Please don't tell him Izuku has been doing anything reckless.]
no subject
Not at all. [BLUNTLY REVEALS THE TRUTH... Sorry.] Izuku's the biggest troublemaker of them all, and Ochako was kidnapped last month. ...Actually, Shouto is probably the one who ends up in trouble the least, so I can't say anything bad about him.
[yet, anyway.] But they've been pushing through it all despite that. They're all good kids.
no subject
Ah... Then I'll apologise as their teacher, particularly for young Midoriya. As you've said, they mean well, but... How to put this...
[He rubs his neck sheepishly. Well, Guren seems to have already seen what he's like firsthand, so he won't explain or make excuses. All he can try to do is teach them better in future.]
Who kidnapped young Uraraka? Was she injured?
no subject
Ochako, though...]
Sirens. She made it out okay, but you can always talk to her about it. It was a pretty worrying situation.
no subject
[Hero training would have only prepared these children for so much, and mythical creatures are not one of those things. Making sure they're properly cared for and protected will be more important than ever.]
Besides that incident, do we have any records of all the dangers that have been encountered so far? I'd like a clear idea of what we're up against.
no subject
[He points to the community board.] So just message me later, and I'll write you a summary.
no subject
[Realising he's getting a little too serious with his worry over his students, he perks up again and offers him a cheery salute.] Thank you for your assistance!
