A. Early Afternoon
[Shouto's out and about, looking through a few of the houses that are close to the well and currently unoccupied. He's clearly out here for some reason or another.

It takes him an hour or two, but eventually he's secured the house, and starts taking the furniture and such out. There's some broken shelves, a bedframe, a few chairs, etc.

Then he puts his right hand on the house. In just a few seconds the entire thing is iced over. If anybody is looking at him, a puff of cool air escapes him.]

B. Late Afternoon

[Are you out on the town for any reason? Shouto's just sitting on the lip of the well for now. Since he made something useful, he should probably... tell people about it.]

There's an icebox in town now. You can keep whatever might spoil in there.

[Shouto's by the well just like he said. He's wearing his hero outfit, with the vest. They're not... great to fight with quirks unless they're physical, but they'll figure something out.]

[Rin, of course, doesn't have anything of the sort. Just his usual clothes, sword in hand. He gives a wave as he approaches.]

Yo.

[glaciers]

[He gives a small nod of acknowledgement before he starts heading towards the forest.]

That sword's gonna be handy.

[satanslash]

[Following!]

Yeah? I try not to go anywhere without it, but good to know it'll help.

[glaciers]

The fairies are weaker to physical attacks.

[satanslash]

... why is Mister F makin' us go after fairies anyway? Any idea?

[This is the best time for small talk, right?

Or rather Rin's poor attempt at it with someone who doesn't generally do small talk.]

I have no idea. Probably because they're menaces?

[ They're not exactly benevolent. ]

[Rin knows a thing or two about misinterpreted non-humans, but he'll also be the first to admit that he has no idea what fairies are really like? He's just seen the cutesy Disney-esque ones in fiction.]

[glaciers]

I think they were there during the pit quest. Cheering us on to knock each other out.

[satanslash]

Oh, that was them?! Shit, I was too busy tryin' to not get mauled by fuckin' wasps to notice who was doin' all that cheerin'.

[Okay, he's willing to pummel a few faries now. That pit fight was stupid and they were all for the guy who sent a swarm of wasps at him.]

[glaciers]

[ ... Wait hold on, that was a really weird sentence? ]

Somebody sent wasps at you?

[Rin's life?

I mean-]

Yeah! His name is Gio! He can make like tree branches come outta the ground and turned a bunch'a them in to wasps! It hurt like hell!

[He's even waving his hands dramatically as he explains that incredibly weird fight.]

It was fuckin' weird, man! I didn't know anyone had powers like that here.

[glaciers]

Oh. I know that guy, we went on the fairy quest too. He made a bunch of bats. ... Do you have any idea how it works?

[ Because Shouto sure doesn't. ]

[satanslash]

Not a fuckin' clue, man. Not a fuckin' clue.

[He's irritated he lost that way, but what's done is done on that.]

I'd ask him but honestly it's kinda... scary.

[glaciers]

I know somebody at home who can make stuff from her fat cells, but it's not the same as making animals.

[satanslash]

... this place is weird.

[Says the half breed son of Satan.]

Where are these things at anyway?

[glaciers]

In the forest? They'll find us if we don't find them first.

[And as soon as he says it there's a burst of lighting headed their way.

He ducks.]

They're here!

[satanslash]

[It narrowly misses Rin's nose as he turns at the very possible last second to avoid the attack.]

Wow, rude!

[Pretty sure that's the point, Rin.]

[glaciers]

They're not friendly!

[He sparks a fire and throws it blindly where the fairy might have been.]

[satanslash]

I get that now!

[Rin joins in the fire-throwing, his own blue flames joining Shouto's in the relatively same direction. Hopefully one of them would hit, if not both.]

Fuckin' jerks!

[glaciers]

[Between their combined efforts, one of the fairies falls out of the sky and hits the ground.

But it's not a group of them and they tend to swarm.]

Keep your guard up. There's probably more.
