He drapes the blanket over his shoulders and tucks himself under Hunk's arm.]
All right, big man. My turn. Lean on me, and let's go home.
no subject
Sounds good. Great. Sounds amazing.
[He puts emphasis on amazing as he leans some of his weight on Keith, not too much but enough to feel like he can walk back to their house.]
no subject
[Home and warm and dry and sleeping in a bed. Nothing has ever sounded better honestly. So Keith will offer what support he can and make their way back to their little orange house.
When it comes into view, he sighs in relief. He's never been happier to see it.]
no subject
[VERY SERIOUSLY as Hunk lifts his face, gazing with relief at it.
Bless it. Bless its orange. Bless the beds waiting inside, oh man he can not wait and, despite his exhaustion and everything, he manages to perk up.]
no subject
[Come on, Hunk. Into the house and up the stairs. Keith is concerned. Hunk seems worn out. He at least got to rest during the boat ride while Hunk worked that hard to get them back here.]
We can sleep through tomorrow if you want. Maybe the next day.
no subject
[Hunk declares it, sloppily working open the few clasps of his Paladin armour on their way up the stairs. It's mostly loose by the time they get to his room door and he starts discarding it (carefully) with a sigh of relief.]
We're having, like. Exclusive us-only slumber party.
no subject
So he may also be stripping as he follows Hunk on up the stairs, at least out of his shirt. Ugh. Being warm is going to be amazing.]
Sounds great. I'm just... really happy to be inside. I was starting to think I'd never be warm again. I'm still shivering.
no subject
So he'll just dig out some spare clothes for himself and for Keith. So they'll be big on Keith, whatever whatever. He offers them as he finishes struggling out of his Paladin armour and starts shoving his face into nice comfortable clothes.]
Don't worry. Once we're like, buried in blankets, we'll be toasty as burritos.
[purritos]
no subject
He links at the offered clothes.
Really? That's okay?] Yeah? ...it's okay if I stay here?
[Maybe? Yes?]
no subject
[Casual, casual.
No big deal. Just two dudes sharing a bed. They've done it before, so Hunk's not too fussed and he smiles at him, actually.] To be honest, it'd actually make me feel pretty relieved if you stuck around.
no subject
[Keith admits. Less chance of being siren'd out of bed maybe? Also a great deal warmer.
So yeah he'll just shuck out of the rest of his damp island kidnapping clothes and into what Hunk has lent him. Yeah okay it's big. He's swimming in it. But.
Warm.]
no subject
Oh bed, how I've missed you. Creaky left side and all.
[Is he talking to the bed? He might be. He's also grabbed down another blanket from the closet because that seems thoroughly necessary. He adds it onto the bed before disappearing under it.
Well. Not completely. There's a lump there under the covers. But.]
no subject
[Keith teases, looking rather fondly at the lump beneath the blankets. Hunk's sort of cute, right? That's not a weird thing to think? It's just sort of an objective truth, that's all.
Right?
Right. So uh. Anyway, he'll just be joining him right now. Under the covers.]
You sure I'm not interrupting your reunion with your bed? Sounds like you two have a lot to catch up on.
no subject
[Comes the muffled pseudo-complaint.]
You know what I want? An electric blanket. Just the one. I'm even willing to old school it and see if all of these old-fashioned houses have one of those old timey bed warmer things.
[He pops just his nose and eyes above the blankets, to look at Keith as Keith joins him.]
no subject
[He's on it, Hunk. Just... inviting himself right under the covers, settling in. He grins.]
...you realize you'd just light something on fire, right?
[Like. Without a doubt that's what would happen.]
But I know what you mean. It takes some time for things to warm up.
[Though this is already pretty toasty.]
no subject
[Hunk sniffs, affecting an offended tone that Keith would ever doubt him. Wow.
He shifts a little closer to him, however, sighing in relief as the warmth builds.]
It'll start getting colder out soon too.
no subject
[That tracks. Keith can buy that. But he still worries about Hunk definitely lighting his bed on fire with an old fashioned bed warmer.
He makes a face at the last thing Hunk says.]
...it will. Ugh. I hate cold. [Give him the desert.] So much.
no subject
[Hunk makes a gesture, probably, the blankets just kind of move a little. He's closed his eyes by now, tired but content enough, reassured if you will.]
But don't worry, Keith. We'll keep warm.
[Yawnnn.]
no subject
[That remarkable and profound statement is the reason he's a pilot, you see. But oh well. He's a comfy pilot right now. The warmth is building beneath the pile of blankets and Hunk's bed is a pretty great place, as place's go.
So. He might unconsciously scoot in a little closer.]
Right. There's a fireplace. And blankets. And those things.
no subject
Or... talking. Or anything at all.]
Mmhmm. Those things. And me. I'm warm.
[nah he doesn't know what he's saying] We'll survive. No prob.
no subject
But.]
Yeah. You are.
[And it's... really nice actually. Whatever. He's just going to shut his eyes and enjoy how warm it is.]
no subject
He goes to say something, probably, but it just comes out as a groggy hum as he drifts off at last.
If he slings an arm around Keith in that last moment of semi-consciousness, eh, no big deal.]
no subject
Umm.
Warm. And he hasn't been warm in days and days. And it's Hunk, and he trusts Hunk. And he likes Hunk. And...
No okay it's not a big deal, it's actually great. He's into it.
Keith closes his eyes and settles back in. Maybe a little closer. No big deal.]
