I'll find the answer for you so you don't have to use your brain too much.
[Guren gets another smirk, but it fades quickly as they round the rocks to the beach where more people have gathered to begin setting back off to Chroma. His eyes again do a jumping scan, searching. He'll have to find Jon, but--there's Bruce. His heart leaps in his throat.
His feet take two or three hurried steps ahead before he realizes, and he stops to glance slowly back at Guren. There's a moment of brief concern, then one of unspoken gratitude.]
Don't be a hero. When the last person is off the island, you get on too. Otherwise, I'll make you regret it. [He points at his eyes, points at Guren. He's watching you, mister.] I'm not letting you die without giving me a fight first. Got it?

You know, the usual.
But he can at least offer a crooked smile back to Damian. That brief concern didn't suit him, so he's gotta make sure that goes away, right?]
Yeah, yeah. Lucky for you, I'm not a hero. [He believes this?? But he's so fucking full of it??] Scram. I'll see you later.

But Damian isn't a fool. He can see through some of Guren's facade now. A man who cares too much and pretends to care too little. He can relate.
Before Damian can even get turned completely around, his face falls into something surprisingly soft and worried again, something a little militant and serious too. He takes off across the rocks with renewed gusto, and he doesn't stop until he weaves all the way through the people to his father.
Without any kind of care for prying eyes, he pauses, then he jumps the man in a hug when Bruce finally kneels.]

It's not enough. But it's something.
He's gone now!!]
