This will hurt a bit.
[ which is the only warning she gets, before ghostly hands in gold move to touch her wound and .... mold the bandages into the shape of flesh missing from her, the fabric pushing and stretching against skin to mesh with it and become new. ]

a 'bit' is an understatement she soon realizes, as a burning pain crackles over the wound as the bandages begin to mold around her. not that she can see it, too busy shutting her eyes tight and doing her best to keep still despite the shooting pain. her heart pounds and body chills as she waits for him to finish, but it may as well be an eternity. ]

Ah, that looks good.
You can look now. [ giorno's eyes quietly scan the rest of her for any other injuries that may seem threatening. ]

her eyes open as soon as he says she can, testing her courage by peering down to where the wound should be, but now isn't. ]
Incredible. It was painful but it's completely healed. What sort of healing do you have?
no subject
I can create living things from nothing. This includes plants, animals ... body organs.
The reason why it hurts is because it's becoming part of you again. Think of ... a limb, being forced to reattach once more to the point of injury where it was severed from. To have each individual cell and muscle and bone be reattached and grown again like nothing is wrong. It's not technically healing, but more a means of grafting new parts to pre-existing sites.

[ she reaches her hand up to the wound to touch with her fingers, lightly grazing the tips over the now healed wound. if there's a difference to her skin now, it isn't one she can properly feel. that unsettles her more than she would like. ]
It's a little dreadful to think the bandages are now part of me. Your transformations don't ever come undone, do they?
[knife emoji] go to bed
If you dwell on it you'd be uncomfortable for days. They won't come undone. And the pain will vanish soon enough.
[ you're gonna carry that weight. ]
update: im awake
[ if he says not to dwell she... will. she always does, it's too much in her nature. she'll get over it and try not to pick at the skin to test his work. ]
I was told that everyone who remained here became sick. I hope you're feeling better now that we've been rescued.
dunks you back in bed
I'm used to working in difficult conditions - physical or otherwise. It's nothing new. I'm glad we've rescued everyone.
bls
it's what u deserve
[ that is to say, people, for the most part, are rather predictable. even those who aren't quite human hold the same hesitation. it's interesting. ]
ok kim
Is that a comment about me?

[ giorno smiles. ]
I'd prefer things go as I want them to. Doesn't everyone?

[ wew ] Ah, but I can afford to be. If I couldn't - I wouldn't have said it at all.

I'm too tired to argue, but you should be cautious. 'Pride before fall' is a saying from the realm you're from, I hope?

Not to worry. I take care of myself very well. [ it's cool. it's all chill. ]

[ he's such a child, but that'll go unsaid for the sake of sensitivities. ]
I thank you again for your help. Please, feel free to help others - even if they say they don't need it.

I'll talk to you later. Take care.
