Thus, on Life’s gloomy sea, Heareth the marinere Voices sweet, from far and near, Ever singing in his ear, “Here is rest and peace for thee!”

t's a dark night, and the sounds of feet in the darkness are further dampened and hidden by even more magic, as they are lured away by the soft sounds of dreams that are too good to be true, leaving the Town much, much emptier than when it began. On one side, an island, and a ticking clock to a gruesome death. On the other, the slow realization that those bonds everyone has been forging might mean much, much more than they first thought. It seems like everyone's been feeling ill since you vanished. It was a rather uncomfortable boat ride for most on the way here.

... Are our interactions... impacting more than just the color of the town? You said you're managing, though...

Well, I do feel a little dizzy now and then—but the others apparently have it much worse.

Maybe because you're a newer arrival... well, I can't say there's a reason behind it without asking around more.

[ Maya, maybe save that for when you're not looking like you're close to passing out on your feet. ]

... I know you're the curious sort, Miss Maya, but perhaps rest your brain for now?

... Probably, huh? There's no use pondering it just yet.

[ she says this a little sadly. ]

It's almost over. Just rest for now—I'm sure we'll be heading back soon.

How do you feel about piggybacks?

Unfortunately, when they kidnapped us, they didn't really give us time to put on things like boots, regular clothing, or weapons so we had to improvise.

[ She misses her bed. ]

Of course, if piggybacking's too embarrassing, leaning on you is just fine too!

No, piggybacking is fine. You deserve the rest.

You and Minato really are too similar...

[seeing as how he doesn't have to suppress his power in this form, it doesn't matter either way—as a human, she essentially weighs nothing to him.]

[ complete with dramatic arm point that somehow manages to avoid walloping him in the head. She should probably add this skill to her resume. ]

... I din't think I've ever heard that one before, though. Did you piggyback him, too?
