[These are the worst adults possible, perhaps?! Nah, actually no, but Kyrie is just leaving... But telling them not to waste time, so is he supposed to follow?
Well, he's doing that anyway, so here he is following behind them both.]
You go first, then, so it doesn't matter when you get bored and stop listening. What a piece of work.
There are worse adults. Kyrie could name one in a heartbeat if only he were aware of the topic.
As it stands though, he only sighs, stopping short of the beginnings of Ruga so he can lean with nearly tangible disinterest against the bricks of one of the nearer buildings.
"I haven't decided yet if you're worth the effort." He offers a faint shrug before looking to Caramia instead with a small smile. "Caramia, won't you go instead?"
[ THIS is "comfortable"?! Come on, Kyrie, the LEAST you could've done was found them some, I dunno, LOGS or something to sit on.
Oh, AND he has to go first?! What the hell... ]
Really? Are you both just going to shove the responsibility off?
[ He wasn't sure about what story to even tell! He's read so many books in his lifetime-- or maybe it was supposed to be a story about himself? Why couldn't the damn quests just specify? ]
I guess I could talk about my childhood a bit. I can't say it's very entertaining, though... Would that suffice?
Listen. This is better than standing out in the middle of the center, isn't it? And anyway, it's not as if he has any conveniently placed chaise lounges to pull up for the three of them. Damn. Picky shits.
Anyway, Kyrie's comfortable. Or at least comfortable enough, and that's really all that matters here.
"Most any story you choose will be as unentertaining as the last, Caramia. Let's just hope the quest doesn't rely on quality alone."
Alright everybody fasten your seat belts for a cheery rendition of the goddamn Lion King.
[ As if! Caramia doesn't intend on making it a long story. He might've been a wee baby, but it was still rather embarrassing to tell the story of how he got separated from his pride. ]
Thanks, you two. You're a very inspiring and enthused audience. [ He said, with a sigh and a roll of his eyes. Still, he'd continue, because neither one of these losers were going to, were they? ]
Let's see... My mother had two others along side me, and I never really got to know my father. Mom was very protective of us, though, as mothers generally are. I played with my siblings, but I would get too nervous to venture too far away from the adults. They told us stories of the other beasts in the forest that could easily rip us in two, and I couldn't help but fear running into them.
One night, I had gotten particularly frightened by the big looming shadows in the night, and the wind was rather harsh and making noises that I remember were near-deafening at the time, and before my mother had a chance to come find me, I had ran off, thinking to hide. For a while, I thought I'd be okay, but... I was unable to find my pride- er- my family again. So, I stayed in the forest where I could safely hide if I needed to, and just hunt for small creatures hoping I'd be found if I stayed put.
[ There's a short glance at Kyrie. ] I was, eventually. Not by my family, but by my good friend here. [ There was also a tin man, too, but whatever. ]

Gotta make him do all the work, after all.
