[At any point during the month you may come across the community gardens in the Town and see a couple of different set-ups.

For one thing, someone created a sign painted with purple paint that reads "FLOWER CROWNS HERE."

For another thing, there are bushels and bouquets of different kinds of plants and flowers that have their color restored that have been gathered.

And finally, there are smaller slips of paper that read "RED", "YELLOW", and "BLUE."

At least once a day people passing by the garden will find John sitting there and monitoring the situation. Anyone who approaches will be greeted with a large grin and a wave.]

You saw the forum, right? I thought we could all make this a little easier on each other.

[Grab some flowers and some friends! Questing has never been so easy.]

Fighting things is hit and miss. There was that chimera quest but lately they seem to be focused on honesty and craftsmanship. It sort of makes you wonder if we're preparing for something bigger. [Or it could be just that Mr. F wants them to chill out and bond, who knows.]

[He appears to be focusing on his current crown for a moment. There's still a lot he doesn't know about this world.]

...If that's true, we might be in trouble later on unless we do what they want.

[There may be a grown there. Requests about honesty? That isn't really his speciality.]

If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been here?

[Honesty is for chumps, it's fine. He's fine with sitting here working and chatting since at least Riku seems less embarrassed about it by now.]

A couple of months? About three if I'm counting right. It's been a while but still not long enough to know everything.

[Riku might agree with him on that. Only at first though. Otherwise, he's too honest to think negatively of honesty. And besides, the conversation is a good distraction from the actual task.]

Not long enough to know everything that this world can throw at you. Still that's long enough to be gone from your home.

That's not the part that actually bothers me. [LIKE IT SHOULD BE, BUT.] I'm used to getting sent to other places without warning. Can't say I've ever been somewhere just like this, but it's not the worst place I've seen. [...] That's said like you have some thoughts on that though.

[That gets Riku to pause and give Percy a curious look. It sounds like he's used to worldhopping or something similar too.]

No. Guess there's always worse. Things still seem kind of run down, but at least there's some shelter and stuff here.

[He shrugs, dropping eye contact and going back to his vine weaving.] Just think it's curious that we were brought here somehow but there doesn't seem to be any way back yet.

[He's not fond of the idea of being trapped.]

There's a way out but I'm not sure it's something anybody else knows. People have disappeared from this place and are winding up somewhere. That should be the first thing people are looking into. It'd give us a hint how to get out of here ourselves.

[Crownmaking, crownmaking...] But you're right. There's shelter and we're making our own food and stuff. I can't complain too much.

Phrasing it like that makes it sound so simple. But it doesn't seem like it'll be that easy, and if anyone can find the way out, there's no telling if there's any way back in to let others know.

[Definitely suspicious in his mind, and Riku's never exactly been in a situation like this. Even with the corridors of darkness, there weren't many places he couldn't get into.]

It would be nice though, to figure this out somehow.

[A little snort of laughter.] Can't say it's the worst place I've been in either.

I've heard rumors about people disappearing and coming back. That's something different than permanently leaving, so who knows how that works. And anyway I haven't asked about that yet.

[He raises an eyebrow, but there's a slight grin.] Do I want to know what the worst place was?
