[There's no stopping Okuni now that she knows precisely what Meet Me in the Pit means. She has the Perfect Plan to collect as many pit fights as she can in the span of a month.

The Perfect Plan being digging actual pits around town, because surely every pit will lead to The Pit (it does not) and every person who accidentally falls in will immediately be at her mercy (they won't....). Anyway, catch Okuni either

a.) in the middle of digging a pit, her physics-defying hair just poking out enough to tell that she's there
b.) approaching you with a shovel in her hands??? She's smiling cheerfully, surely this will go well. if b, then Okuni will happily greet you first,]

B; meet okuni IN THE PIT but first, a Mutsu-intervention

[Okuni is as skilled hand at pitfall traps, which all her pits are UNFORTUNATELY, and most of the leaves and detritus covering each hole looks perfectly natural. so unless you have a second sense for pitfall traps, then you're probably about to have a Bad Time...]

[Okuni takes temporary breaks from being an ultra punk-ass long enough to sit around outside, fanning herself with a hand. She has a scattering of plants around her, mostly ear-wiggy looking weeds and suspicious foliage, and also a Bucket.

Anyone who peers into the bucket will see a mass of earthworms and also other bugs, hm.]

[that's hers!! she's intent on making a few flower crowns for the quest (badly until Ochako teaches her the Ways), but also hit her up if you want to tell ur honest feelings about how Okuni is just ANNOYING AND WEIRD, she'll be tickled pink.]

[Keigo doesn't have a second sense for pitfall traps, but he does have a highly tuned sense of when someone might be laughing at him. It's the giggle that makes him look towards the bushes and not at the trap a few steps ahead of him.]

After a few minutes of laughter, Okuni pops her head over the edge of the pit, eyes gleaming.]

You have to have someone else with you to enter the pit! [Is this what Keigo really needs to know!!!] Now, just stand still for a second -- I'll join you and then we can fight each other!

[ Elizabeth is out minding her very pure business, considering she's taking the time to look around the town and find the best flowers possible for her flower crowns. She has to give good gifts to her friends, after all! However, the (relative) peace and quiet of Chroma also means she's wholly unprepared for a pranking...

Elizabeth hears an ominous giggle nearby and looks that way, but unfortunately, she doesn't stop walking. She trusts the people of Chroma perhaps a little too much, since all of the sudden, the ground gives way underneath her, and into the pit she goes. With a rather undignified, alarmed scream, of course.

[That moment when Okuni tries her best to ruin everyone else's reputation in Chroma...

She is Delighted at that scream though, and like busts out of her hiding place just so she can scurry over and peek into the pit, all while giggling uproariously.....]

That was wonderful! [FOR OKUNI!!!] You didn't bump your head or anything, right? You can still fight?

[ It's not exactly a long fall, but the unexpected nature of it was what had thrown Elizabeth off completely. She manages to land in such a way that she doesn't, like. Break an ankle. But she does tumble over herself so that she's really half lying in the pit after trying to catch herself. When she looks up, her eyes are wide and distinctly terrified, but the dark place her mind immediately jumps to in fear is quickly assuaged by seeing a girl she doesn't know.

...Who is talking about somethign she doesn't know. ]

[ Her startled response is first, but as she slowly processes what was said, she adds more sharply: ]

Wonderful? Did you do this?

[ It's still not very sharp, though. Elizabeth isn't exactly intimidating, and especially not when she's lying in a pit. ]

[ Honebami, being gently suspicious at the innocent troublemakers is kind of being the norm now (mutsunokami: honebami why). They were exploring the ill-rumored forest for some silly reason on top of the actual quest (tonbokiri: honebami-dono why). But now they're on what looks like an arena. There are fairies and such, cheering for them to fight.

Honebami sees his bird and sword held hostage and away from their reach, though. Rude much? ]

[ With his foot, he taps the ground for any traps (by faeries not Okuni). DEADPAN SUSPICION ON ANY FRONT SEEMS TO NOT BOTHER THE SENGOKU TROLL AT ALL, so there's no reason not to be thorough? Unfortunately they have bigger problem than the mention of not-there traps. ]

You make it sound like it would be a quick fight.

[ When you're unarmed, you bring your arms up to fight back, right? He's sparred before, but they still had training weapons and it never reached a point where you had to purposefully KO a person. ]

[ look, Michael is getting pretty used to rolling with the fact that weird is the new normal in this town. honestly, weird is more his speed anyway, or at least, the good kind of weird is. but when he comes across some physics-defying hair half-way through digging a pit in the middle of a road in Flavo, he just kinda has to... stare for a bit??

before he wanders a little closer to the pit-in-progress (but not too close!!), because curiosity killed the Michael. once he gets close enough to actually see who's in there, he just plops down on his butt next to it with a huffed goofy-sounding laugh, because who else would it be trying to recreate the plot of Holes. ]

After their incredibly one sided fight in the pit, Shouto's made an extra flower crown. It's all very lavender, but they have nice, sturdy stems! Also he feels like he doesn't break them as often as other flowers.

He's looking for her to gift this crown to, but once she finds her doing... whatever in the town, he'll call out to her.]

[Shouto catches her in that rare moment of not digging any pits, so he's truly fortunate. Instead, she's currently in the middle of picking up a few colorless ladybugs, but she lets them go free when Shouto calls out to her.]

My, if it isn't Sho-chan. [that's ur name now shouto!!!] Were you looking for me?

[The pit fight was one-sided, but also fun, but Okuni has a feeling that he's not here for a rematch. She notices the crown, but doesn't immediately make the connection because who!! would give Okuni a crown!!]

[He was just going to give her the flower crown and go. But he's totally thrown for a loop when the nickname hits him. Nobody does that. Nobody gives him nicknames.]
