A. Cucumbers

[It's very strange to wake up to a box full of weirdly colored cucumbers. But he did take a bite out of them, and they taste exactly the way a normal cucumbers taste. So he's just going to assume it's one of those weird things that this town does.

While he kept a few for himself, and for the garden... there's no way he wants to eat cucumbers for an entire week.

So he has the box in his hands as he walks about the town.]

Do you want cucumbers?

B. Flower Crowns

[Once the flower crown quest has gone up Shouto's in the garden with some flowers in his lap. A while back he made these with Uraraka. So at least he doesn't need a lesson on how to make these. But he'll look up to whoever happens to be around.]

What's your color? [For people he doesn't know.]

I can make you a crown, if you want. [For people he does.]

[Minato looks familiar, but he doesn't think they've actually spoken before.]

[Minato will gratefully accept the cucumbers, then!! No arguments here.]

[There's a little pause and he tilts his head.]

Sorry about the color. I don't know why they're like this.

[Flowers... Shouto dealing with flowers so seriously is kind of hilarious. Guren stops, hands on his hips, considering him.]

It has to be for someone you find worthy, right? [So, why him,]

[He's fussing with some long stemmed flowers... He's getting there. It was definitely easier when he was watching Uraraka doing it at the same time, but he's doing fine.]

I like you enough to make you a flower crown.

[swordfucker]

[Ducking down just enough, he knocks his knuckles lightly against the top of Shouto's head. It's affectionate.]

Whether you like me or not doesn't matter. The quest says "worthy." That's a little different.

[Okuni finally knows what the pit quest actually means (thanks to Izuku, a good boy), so she's on the prowl for people she can randomly challenge into the Pit.

The reason she picks Shouto is.... probably because he's just passing by, possibly intent on his own business, but that's no reason for Okuni to NOT call out to him. And so, she turns and follows after him, raising a hand and gesturing him over to her.]

Hello! [beaming...] I'd like your help with something!

[there's a please in there somewhere]

[He's probably out in the gardens looking thoughtfully at some strawberries. A growing boy! A few of them he takes, and he's munching on one before Okuni calls out to him.

Give him a moment to finish eating this strawberry before he answers.]

With what?

[It's fine if she's rude, the more direct the faster it goes, right?]

[She should feel guilty for trying to separate a growing boy and his strawberries... She feels a smidgeon of it before it vanishes in her cheer that Shouto seems to be at least willing to hear her out! So many people have said no to her???]

Just a quest! [a small pause for the possibility of it being a nice one like flower crowns or honest confessions, then] I'd like to challenge you in the pit! Would you be interested?

[ A lot of people could maybe hem and haw about being approached by strangers about food, but Maya is not one of them. Rather, she's already beaming. ]

I'd love a couple!

[He's not enough of a monster to go around poisoning food. Especially when it just shows up at his house.

He'll open the box and hold it out for Maya.]

I had some this morning and I didn't get sick. It's sort of like how some stuff isn't the right color.

Emma nods along since she has seen the weirdly colored animals. Still...]

Isn't that usually very different, like the purple mice? But it makes sense that they could just get something a little wrong too.

They're fine. I had some and I didn't get food poisoning. This is just how they look now... I think.

Yyyeah, that doesn't sound great either. [ oh well! he didn't even try at all, but that's okay. ] But going off what I've heard about how colour comes back here, I'm gonna put this one down as one of those weird colour mixing things.

[At their house they have about three crates of papayas. They taste like regular papayas so they're safe, but now they have three crates. Ryuu has a box of papayas in his hands as he walks around town looking to see if he could trade for it. He stops when he sees the box of cucumbers and nods.]

Yes, I would like some. Would you like some papayas? If not I can go back home and grab some pecans if you want those.

I'll trade you papayas for cucumbers. Do you think we can plant papayas? Their fruits, right?

I'm sure that we can. I know there's an asparagus garden, so I'm sure papayas will be able to grow here. Yeah, if I can remember correctly, they're fruits.
