A. Cucumbers

[It's very strange to wake up to a box full of weirdly colored cucumbers. But he did take a bite out of them, and they taste exactly the way a normal cucumbers taste. So he's just going to assume it's one of those weird things that this town does.

While he kept a few for himself, and for the garden... there's no way he wants to eat cucumbers for an entire week.

So he has the box in his hands as he walks about the town.]

Do you want cucumbers?

B. Flower Crowns

[Once the flower crown quest has gone up Shouto's in the garden with some flowers in his lap. A while back he made these with Uraraka. So at least he doesn't need a lesson on how to make these. But he'll look up to whoever happens to be around.]

What's your color? [For people he doesn't know.]

I can make you a crown, if you want. [For people he does.]

That's a strange thing to be asked out of the blue, but Minato will also never say no to food. Like. Ever.]

Really...? Are you sure?

[And this guy is... Izuku's-- yes, that's right.]

[He takes two cucumbers out of his box and gives them over.]

I don't want to eat cucumbers for a week.

[Minato looks familiar, but he doesn't think they've actually spoken before.]

[Flowers... Shouto dealing with flowers so seriously is kind of hilarious. Guren stops, hands on his hips, considering him.]

It has to be for someone you find worthy, right? [So, why him,]

[glaciers]

[He's fussing with some long stemmed flowers... He's getting there. It was definitely easier when he was watching Uraraka doing it at the same time, but he's doing fine.]

I like you enough to make you a flower crown.

[swordfucker]

[Ducking down just enough, he knocks his knuckles lightly against the top of Shouto's head. It's affectionate.]

Whether you like me or not doesn't matter. The quest says "worthy." That's a little different.

[glaciers]

[He lets it happen, tilting his head down slightly at the contact.]

Isn't it the same thing? I want to give you a flower crown.

[Okuni finally knows what the pit quest actually means (thanks to Izuku, a good boy), so she's on the prowl for people she can randomly challenge into the Pit.

The reason she picks Shouto is.... probably because he's just passing by, possibly intent on his own business, but that's no reason for Okuni to NOT call out to him. And so, she turns and follows after him, raising a hand and gesturing him over to her.]

Hello! [beaming...] I'd like your help with something!

[there's a please in there somewhere]

[glaciers]

[He's probably out in the gardens looking thoughtfully at some strawberries. A growing boy! A few of them he takes, and he's munching on one before Okuni calls out to him.

Give him a moment to finish eating this strawberry before he answers.]

With what?

[It's fine if she's rude, the more direct the faster it goes, right?]

[swordfucker]

I don't know if it'll work.

[HE'S NOT WORTHY!! He wants to insist this like a loser, but Shouto is persistent...]

Go ahead, if you want. I just don't want you wasting your time.

[glaciers]

I don't know how this quest works. So we both don't know.

[Shouto shrugs as he finishes up the flower crown.]

Even if it doesn't work, it's not a waste.

[osuni]

[She should feel guilty for trying to separate a growing boy and his strawberries... She feels a smidgeon of it before it vanishes in her cheer that Shouto seems to be at least willing to hear her out! So many people have said no to her???]

Just a quest! [a small pause for the possibility of it being a nice one like flower crowns or honest confessions, then] I'd like to challenge you in the pit! Would you be interested?

[swordfucker]

It doesn't suit someone like me, though.

[Like, obviously, but he's just poking fun at this point, eyeing the finished one.]

[glaciers]

Oh. That one.

[It sounds like a fight along the lines of what happened during the sports festival. Well, he wouldn't mind doing it. But... He looks down at the strawberries in his hands and then back up at Okuni.]

Can I finish eating first?

[There's probably something useful that comes out of fighting each other... maybe?]

[glaciers]

That's what I said when Uraraka and Izuku gave me one. They said it fit me.

[Now that they've gotten that out of the way, Shouto gets up and places the flower crown on Guren's head.]

... It doesn't look that bad.

[swordfucker]

I don't believe you.

[That it doesn't look that bad. He probably looks so soft, though, in reality...]

Thanks, though.

[glaciers]

It doesn't matter if you don't. [He's allowed to say things like this, right? They're family.

And family-- well he's not always sure what they do. But Uraraka doesn't have a problem teasing him.]

[osuni]

[Okuni huffs out loud, despite being the one asking for the favor, but she nods.]

I suppose that's fine.

[Must of her put-upon irritation abruptly vanishes though since Shouto agreed to do the quest with her!! She'll look around his nice garden in the meantime, clearly on her best behavior by keeping her hands to herself and not stealing anything, nice.]

But try not to eat too much! I won't go easy on you even if you do get an upset stomach.

[swordfucker]

[He's absolutely allowed to, especially since Guren doesn't even get mad at this one. It's just kind of funny... Besides, he's busy reaching up to touch at the flowers curiously.]

Who else are you making these for?

[scooptimistic]

Oh! Really?

[ A lot of people could maybe hem and haw about being approached by strangers about food, but Maya is not one of them. Rather, she's already beaming. ]

I'd love a couple!

[Emma's usually not one to look a gift horse in the mouth but she can't help but see the cucumbers in the box.]

Are they still good?

[That's a sick looking gray-green, my dude.]

[glaciers]

[He shrugs, which is obviously a great way of dealing with the constant strangeness of the town.]

I had some this morning and I didn't get sick. It's sort of like how some stuff isn't the right color.

[glaciers]

[He's not enough of a monster to go around poisoning food. Especially when it just shows up at his house.

He'll open the box and hold it out for Maya.]

Here, take a few.

[glaciers]

Izuku. [That feels so obvious he wonders why he's even saying it.]

Okuyasu. [Since he helped Shouto with all his confusing romantic feelings and all.]

[glaciers]

Here.

[It's the public garden and Okuni could totally just snatch a few strawberries or other fruits for herself. But if she's not going to, Shouto will take a few strawberries and hand them over to her.]

I just wanted a snack.

[Once he's eaten his second strawberry he'll start heading off towards the forest.]

[swordfucker]

They're good kids. [He approves. They're worthy of flower crowns.]

You and Izuku are a lot closer now, huh?
