WHO: okuya$u & emma
WHERE: emma's place and then who fucking knows
WHEN: now yall
WHAT: giving children bullet dispensers
WARNINGS: emma has a gun

[Now that he's received one whole ammo-dispensing ribbon that he does not need, Okuyasu figures he'll dutifully give it to someone who does need bullets for her fucking rifle. That would be Emma, who he should probably check up on and say hey to anyway, so off he goes with ribbon in hand to Emma's Flavo cottage.

knock knock knock knock knock]

[This is some true 90s teenage rebellion here. Chilling on a roof. Emma tosses her work gear into a pile by whatever project she was chipping away at today. She can go back to that later, it's hang out time now.]

Mm... It does feel like there has been less color popping up compared to the beginning too. Maybe his gifts directly tie into that?

[Although there have been larger scaled changes in comparison to the small pops of color from the start. The lazy clouds drifting across the warm summer sun being full of life is one such improvement that was immediately apparent form their vantage point.]

Or maybe the other way around... More effort is going into the world instead of us?

[How else are they going to cloud gaze and other mundane activities? Honestly, the sun really is important in the long run. The long run... Despite the wonderful people Emma has met in Chrome, truly they were family now, she can't help the squeeze of her heart when Okuyasu says forever. Six months she has been missing. Six whole months she hasn't had a word or update from home.

She kicks her legs, fidgeting to hide the discomfort. It's fine to vent with Okuyasu though, right? He's obviously not holding back.]

Hopefully not, but I'm still hoping that we'll be able to find a way out when it's back to normal. We had to have gotten here somehow. So there has to be a way back out. [Heck, people are being sent back all the time as it is! Well, probably being sent back home. They might not even have to wait until it's fully colorful to find it.] We just have to find a way to get in contact with him one way or another. I'm just betting that being on his good side will make it go smoother.

[Again! Not like this Mr. F has been forthcoming in replies! She sighs at the number of dead ends.]

[Twelve or not Emma will call bullshit when she sees it. Being kidnapped for six months is squarely in bullshit territory.]

He still could though. I would rather hope that he does then give up on that line of thinking before we even get in contact. [Sorry, not sorry, she is too shonen protag to not believe in the heart of the antagonist.]

[However! Emma turns to face Okuyasu fully, eyes bright at the suggestion. The kindred spirit grows.]

You've thought about that too?! I've been thinking about how strange our arrival was for a while now- And then there was what happened to you at the well and everything. It's obviously important, right? But going in alone isn't smart since there's no one to watch your back if you black out. [like Okuyasu showed in his digging experiment.] We could watch each other's backs?

[Good response, bro! Hell yeah she wants to go into the well. She nods!]

Definitely. With both of us there one of us is bound to notice something!

[Probably. If all the weird stuff surrounding it actually proves to be anything for real. Now Emma has gone full tilt into planning this little exploration. Long live the stupid ideas club.]

We can prepare a rope or ladder beforehand. [Or! Combine the two with a rope ladder.] The issue would be preventing anyone else from moving it while we're down there. A lot of people visit the well.

[You know, since its one of the only sources of clean water. That they are going to be standing in. It's fine.]
