WHO: okuya$u & emma
WHERE: emma's place and then who fucking knows
WHEN: now yall
WHAT: giving children bullet dispensers
WARNINGS: emma has a gun
[Now that he's received one whole ammo-dispensing ribbon that he does not need, Okuyasu figures he'll dutifully give it to someone who does need bullets for her fucking rifle. That would be Emma, who he should probably check up on and say hey to anyway, so off he goes with ribbon in hand to Emma's Flavo cottage.

Emma does not open the door! Instead her head pops over the edge of the roof. What's up, down below.]
Hey there, Okuyasu!
no subject
Yo!
[does she have a ladder... he will climb this cottage.]
I got something you're gonna want!
no subject
I'm in the middle of something so come on up! [she really wants to see this thing, but after a beat.] As long as it's something that can be carried up here!
[Please don't wreck her roof with something heavy?? It's old enough as it is.]
no subject
You're gonna like it, I swear!
[And Okuyasu... climbs... the tree in Emma's yard. Thank god her cottage has been fixed up by now compared to the first month, or his huge dude mass would go straight through when he squints at the distance from the tree to the roof and makes the little jump over. Parkour.]
I got you... [he pulls out.....THE RIBBON!!!] a bullet-maker.
no subject
All she see is the flash of blue in his hand before he starts his climb up the tree. Her curiosity is boundless. And she can't help the incredulous look when he claims it makes bullets of all things.]
A "bullet-maker"? No way, it's way too tiny! And also completely flat.
[One can get used to a certain level of bullshit magic, but really?? Emma is kneeling, staring at the cheap ribbon with rapt interest. She may be disbelieving but she isn't dismissive. Please provide a demonstration of this parlor trick. This has got to be good.]
no subject
[Shits bullets... He holds it by the string and wiggles it close to her face; take it, Emma. Enjoy it.]
You gotta give it a day or two, 'cause it just gave me some dumb rocks. I don't have a gun, so. Take it.
no subject
No, but Emma accepts the mysterious artifact since it was being wiggled in her face and all. She flips it over to see the equally cheap fabric backside.]
Do I just wiggle it then and the bullets fall out?
[How does one operate a bullet shitter? She gives it a test wiggle to emphasize.]
no subject
Yeah, I guess? But uh... carefully?
[They are bullets.]
no subject
She tilts her head at the careful suggestion. Uh.]
Carefully? Do they fall out messily?
[Because, like, bullets don't explode if you drop them. They aren't nukes.]
no subject
How do Guns work?? He suddenly realizes that he's gotten something wrong with his understanding of bullets here, and makes a face. Uh.]
Uh... yeah. Goes everywhere. Gotta pick 'em up.
no subject
And yet.]
I'll make sure to use it inside only. [And she gently folds it and puts it in her pocket. Safe.] Thank you.
[Cheekily letting his slip up go aside, she honestly is happy with the gift. The fact that he thought of her and everything. She pats his arm in thanks because a hug on a rooftop would be too dangerous even for her.]
no subject
No problem. It's no good for me, but at least somebody needs it, right? Mr. F's been slacking with his dumb presents.
no subject
Mm... It does feel like there has been less color popping up compared to the beginning too. Maybe his gifts directly tie into that?
[Although there have been larger scaled changes in comparison to the small pops of color from the start. The lazy clouds drifting across the warm summer sun being full of life is one such improvement that was immediately apparent form their vantage point.]
Or maybe the other way around... More effort is going into the world instead of us?
no subject
Who gives a shit about that? Not like we're gonna stay here forever. [They've both been here for six months, but you know who just disappeared the other day?? Okuyasu's best friend in the world!!! He's not convinced any of them are playing for keeps here.]
So he's just giving us garbage for what? So we keep doing dumb shit for him and he colors some more grass?
[tell him, 12yo senpai]
no subject
She kicks her legs, fidgeting to hide the discomfort. It's fine to vent with Okuyasu though, right? He's obviously not holding back.]
Hopefully not, but I'm still hoping that we'll be able to find a way out when it's back to normal. We had to have gotten here somehow. So there has to be a way back out. [Heck, people are being sent back all the time as it is! Well, probably being sent back home. They might not even have to wait until it's fully colorful to find it.] We just have to find a way to get in contact with him one way or another. I'm just betting that being on his good side will make it go smoother.
[Again! Not like this Mr. F has been forthcoming in replies! She sighs at the number of dead ends.]
no subject
Bet he doesn't have a good side. [lmao...] He doesn't answer online and he screws with you if you try to find him the normal way...
[You know, digging. He thinks, then; people are coming in, and people are going out... perhaps there is an obvious solution.]
Could always trying going down the well again.
no subject
He still could though. I would rather hope that he does then give up on that line of thinking before we even get in contact. [Sorry, not sorry, she is too shonen protag to not believe in the heart of the antagonist.]
[However! Emma turns to face Okuyasu fully, eyes bright at the suggestion. The kindred spirit grows.]
You've thought about that too?! I've been thinking about how strange our arrival was for a while now- And then there was what happened to you at the well and everything. It's obviously important, right? But going in alone isn't smart since there's no one to watch your back if you black out. [like Okuyasu showed in his digging experiment.] We could watch each other's backs?
no subject
Uh-- sure, yeah. [yes he totally thought about this weird thing before now] You wanna check it out?
[Is this idea... dumb?! Yes, of course. He thinks about it and decides they might as well, considering nothing else has given anyone any answers around here. The mystery of the well is as close as they've come to anything of note, if only because it- or, well, someone- doesn't want them near it when they don't have to be.
So. Stupid ideas club is go.]
Let's do it! But how are we gonna get back out?
no subject
Definitely. With both of us there one of us is bound to notice something!
[Probably. If all the weird stuff surrounding it actually proves to be anything for real. Now Emma has gone full tilt into planning this little exploration. Long live the stupid ideas club.]
We can prepare a rope or ladder beforehand. [Or! Combine the two with a rope ladder.] The issue would be preventing anyone else from moving it while we're down there. A lot of people visit the well.
[You know, since its one of the only sources of clean water. That they are going to be standing in. It's fine.]
no subject
[Some people might, but he will find them, and he will destroy them. The sanitation of the well means nothing to him, considering people pop up in it every month anyway.
It's a great plan.]
Maybe in like a week? Just in case something gets weird around here again.
