[ he feels like a nagging parent, which is the worst feeling, but he would much rather feel bad than crush Okuni's head like a grape because she couldn't keep herself in her seat... but he doesn't nag that hard. It's cute seeing someone this excited over a car. ]

This is a lot smoother than riding a horse or a wagon, which is all Okuni has to compare it to. She’s never been fortunate enough to be carried in a litter, not that she’d ever want to after being in A CAR]

Faster? You better hang on.
[ he pulls out of the mansion gates and onto the street - the mansion is secluded enough that there are rarely people around anyway, but in this version of London, there's nobody around. Which means it's totally fine for him to put the pedal to the metal. He drops his foot, and the car sputters out a big puff of steam as it kicks forward at a much faster speed, zooming past hedges and fences. Now that they're out of the house, Steel London is more easily visible - smoke stacks reaching up into the sky, tall buildings surrounded by an even taller wall that encircles the city along with the two of them. ]

The wind probably whips Okuni's big ole hair around hard enough to hit her in the face, but she's too awestruck by the sight of Steel London to really care... hopefully it doesn't hit Lupin in the face though.
some of the castles back in Japan are pretty massive, but this is like... A WHOLE OTHER THING ENTIRELY. she is completely struck speechless for a long while, congrats lupin for achieving something no one else has??]

It might seem obvious that she's never been there, but he's not one to assume anything - everything about Chroma is so unpredictable, even unimaginable, that he has no way of predicting what anyone knows. ]
