he Town is quiet this week. No sudden quests on the forum post, no roars of werewolves in the distance... just peaceful, peaceful quiet. Of course, it's hot as hell right now, but that aside, it's pretty pleasant. You probably don't want to wander around the Town right now, but... Naturally, now's when the Town is going to start thoroughly encouraging you to do just that. You do want to find your doorway back home, don't you? Better get searching! [It says "general store", but Okuni's never seen a store that has this much stuff in it. There's just enough things in here to keep even Okuni of the short attention span satisfactorily occupied for an hour or two. She's in the middle of picking up a watch when Honebami pokes his head up. Ah, so this is his portal?

She holds up the wristwatch.]

[ It's the home intruder, now portal intruder! She's... hard to miss. He'll get up to explain with a closer look. ]

It tells time. You can wear it on your wrist.

[ Is that not obvious? Then again, the thing they use to travel time looks like a clock, so he's used to the round face and hands. ]

It’s so small! [also, how… She’s as familiar with clocks as anyone from her era, and she’s heard of the Dutch kind too, but it’s not as if she’s ever been up close and personal enough to see. Okuni attempts to strap it on her wrist, then she looks around once more – attention already MOVING ON!! She picks up a pair of sunglasses and squints through them.]

I know what these are – eyeglasses, yes? They’re supposed to improve vision?

[the pair she’s sporting are just your standard uv-violet blocking sunglasses tho]

Everything just looks darker!

[ Honebami instinctively brings his hand to his mouth, stifling a laugh. ]

Night vision, I think. They protect your eyes more than help see things better.

[ Oh god he sorta believed what Tsurumaru told everyone (which bami heard from his brothers). Don't mind him as he grabs the infamous "COOL" sunglasses, trying them on. ]

...It really does look like night. It would be good for training, but I'm better suited to fighting at night already.

[ He's not wrong, he actually has better stats in night battles. HE COULD KICK MUTSU'S ASS IN A DARK ALLEY (but why). ]

Okuni slides the glasses down her nose so she can see Honebami and his COOL sunglasses better.]

What a suspicious thing to say. [was it tho] Perhaps you could give a pair to your opponent then, so you could even the playing field.

[ WHY DO THEY SELL TOY SNAKE PUPPETS. It's got an oversized head that makes it not threatening at all, is it meant to be an actual thing to give a child or a bad prank... But anyway Honebami slipped a his sunglasses on snakey and it looks how it should. Ridiculous. ]

It's not the same, but most formidable at night look like snakes or spiders.

[ Slowly approaches Okuni with the COOLest snake here. Please fight back! Imagine it's Mutsu with it's red and brown color. Speaking of, Honebami can totally take him down! He just needs to have Mutsu stop picking him up first... ]

Anyway, aren't snakes and spiders too small to be real opponents? [tell her how big they can get bami]
