WHAT: These past few weeks have been killer! Ochako wants to make people smile, and what better way to do that than by baking and sharing colorful sugar cookies? I'll eventually add quests and stuff here, too.
WHEN: Cookies = 7.2, but everything else? WHO KNOWS?
WARNINGS: Sugary sweetness...


[Baking cookies at home? An easy, fun thing to do. Baking cookies in Chroma? ...Whew. Ochako's wish coin provided the necessary ingredients, and Caramia came through with an easy-to-follow recipe, but the lack of modern kitchen appliances made baking way more difficult than it had any right to be. An hour-long cookie making session somehow turned into a full day's worth of work...

It's fine, though! It's cool. The end product was so worth the effort, which is why she's all smiles as she wanders around town with a cloth-covered basket hanging on one arm.]

[Hello, friend! If Ochako spots you in the street, she's calling your name and running right up to you; if you're at home, however, she's politely knocking on your front door and waiting for you to answer. Choose your own adventure.]

[You're also wandering around town, huh? Just minding your own business? Well, not for long! Stranger danger isn't a Thing in Chroma, so Ochako sidles right up to you and asks a very simple question:]

I know this might seem kind of weird, but... do you like cookies?

(Ochako has 34 cookies to hand out, so she can only give cookies to 17 people. I don't really think that will be an issue, but!! Better safe than sorry! [When was the last time she and Shouto actually spent time together? Ochako can't remember, honestly, but after everything that happened these past few weeks... well, some family bonding time is needed.

So good morning, Shouto! Whenever he's awake enough to open his laptop, he'll find this waiting for him:]

[As cute as a friendship date sounds, Ochako isn't sure what, exactly, she and Deku are actually going to do. Fun activities in Chroma are few and far between, unless you count, like... fishing? Or gardening? Or flower-crown making, but they've done that way too many times to count.

It's fine, though! They'll figure out something fun to do together, she's sure of it, so—here she stands, humming to herself as she patiently waits for Deku to open the door to his cottage. Hopefully he enjoys the ridiculous sweater she's wearing! Oh, and pay no attention to the covered basket swinging off one arm. It's not like she has a surprise for him or anything...]

[The door creaks open and there he is! Of course, he doesn't open the door fully because he's using it to hide the questionable sweater and the just as questionable leggings she had insisted he wear. Honestly, it's probably a good thing the lion leggings give him a burst of courage, because he'll need all of it to walk out that door.]

Ochako-san... [There's a rare, whimpering sort of quality to his voice as he stares at her, beet red.] Do I really have to wear these out?

[Okuyasu isn't the only person getting cookies today, it's true, but he is the only person getting an entire batch of freshly baked cookies. As soon as they cool from the oven, Ochako tucks them inside her basket, covers them with a clean towel to keep the heat in, and dashes right over to his house. Warm cookies are undeniably better than room temperature cookies? And after everything that's happened to him... well, he definitely deserves the best possible cookie experience. Hopefully it will be enough to brighten his day!

Okuyasu? [He told her to come right over, but she still calls out to him as she opens the front door. A bit of warning seems polite.] I brought your surprise!

[As promised, Okuyasu is making a hideous pile of stuff he doesn't need and maybe resents a little, right in the middle of the front room. The cursed hat is definitely down at the bottom, peeking out just enough to be identified, because he hates that "reward" most of all.

But he's in a good mood today, all things considered! He's in a good mood because he's going to burn stuff as soon as it's convenient for other people who also want to burn stuff, but you know what? He'll take what he can get.

And Ochako is coming over, which is always great, and he looks up from where he is, naturally, squatting by this pile of stuff to wave her in. Hello, come in, what's that!!!]

[Well. There's no denying it's been a rough few weeks--not for Minato, necessary, but for a lot of people around Chroma who have been suffering way too much. So. Minato's pretty relieved to see Ochako perky and wandering around like her usual self.

(He should've checked up on her after the werewolf thing, but he really didn't want to make things feel too awkward, all things considered... at least he was able to heal up his nose without too much trouble.)]

Ah-- Ochako-san.

[Minato! On the one hand, she's always happy to see him; on the other hand, she still feels incredibly awkward about the whole nose-shattering thing...

Ah, well. That's partly what this is all about, so she gives him a (slightly smaller than usual) smile as she skids to a stop in front of him.]

Minato-kun! You're not in a hurry, are you? I have something for you...

[Hopefully he isn't in a hurry, because she promptly turns away, trying to keep the contents of her basket hidden as she digs around for something in particular. Give her a minute, please? She turns back around as soon as she finds what she's looking for, which is... a little pouch? With a small, carefully folded note attached to it, on which she has neatly written his name.]

[ Ever since a Certain Incident, Akechi hasn't exactly been in the mood to go out and socialize a whole lot, and with Lupin still needing some mild care for his wounds, he's had the perfect excuse to not leave the house unless he's hunting for supplies.

Still, he can't exactly ignore a knock on his door, so when he sees that bundle of sunshine known as Ochako standing outside his place, he tries to at least greet her with one of his polite smiles. ]

Ah, Ochako-chan. [ And he manages, but just barely; it's just that little bit strained, and almost... sad. ] Good afternoon. How may I help you?

[Ochako notices how difficult it is for him to smile, of course, but she's too polite to question him about it. ...For now. This past week was difficult for almost everyone, which is why she gives him one of her brightest smiles as she not-so-subtly studies his face. Big bro...]

[Oh, gosh. Coming to visit Maya is somehow even more awkward than talking to Minato, and she, you know... totally broke his nose...

[Keigo turns when someone yells out to him and finds it's Ochako from the relay race. It's been nearly a month since the problem went away, but he's grateful each time he isn't invisible to a girl. Of course, that brings up the problem of what else she can see.

The sense of peace and freedom after the werewolves disappeared mixed with utter boredom mixed with a spiteful sense of "Look at me! I am having fun with it! SO MUCH FUN" that led him to take Little Snoopy for a walk suddenly seems like the worst decision in the world. He tries to stand so he blocks the toy from her vision when he returns the greeting.]

[A more confident individual would be able to own this situation, but Keigo is... Keigo. Alas. Ochako definitely notices that he's trying to hide something, which is why she gives him her brightest smile as she stops right in front of him.]

[And she hopes he's been leaving his house more often, but some things are better left unsaid. Plus she has other things to focus on? Like that thing he's trying to block from her sight? HMM. She's just going to leeeeeean to the side and try to catch a better glimpse of it.]

[Even before Ochako gets to his house, she might very well notice Tonbokiri in a nearby field instead. (Please do notice him, or else you'll find the house rather quiet.)

He is absorbed in weeding and carefully watering the grey shoots as he goes along, humming a song softly to himself. Every time he shifts position, he makes sure that his spear is within an arms-reach of him; so for all his seeming distraction, he's not about to be taken unaware, either.]

[Thankfully she does notice him! The surrounding grey foliage makes him stand out like a sore thumb, honestly, and she gives him an excited wave from across the fielf.]

[Aaaand she's just going to jog right over to him, because even though he most certainly is busy... well, maybe he can take a short break? All work and no play sounds extra boring.]

[Ochako isn't particularly surprised to see him, nor is she spooked; she did, after all, hear all about his... return, which is why she came here in the first place. It's good that he's back! It's great, actually, and she definitely feels relieved to see him, but—hmm. Hmm. She stands there for a second, silently studying his face before finally offering him a small smile.]

[Look, there are fifty questions she wants to ask here? It's just that this is, you know, the first time she's met someone who apparently came back from the dead, and she isn't quite sure how to handle this. Maybe she should try to... act like this is all totally normal...]

[Ochako has never ridden a horse in her life, but Maribelle makes it look so effortless. That's a clear sign of skill, right? Right. It's almost a shame to wave her to a stop, and yet... she does, because every single one of her friends deserves a sweet treat.

But oh, she didn't mean to cause this much trouble for the other person? WHOOPS.]

M-Maribelle, you don't have to come down! Nothing's wrong; I just have a surprise to give you!

[ maybe not a stranger, but a near-stranger...! Lupin's probably recognizable, at least. He's done a good job recovering from his lycanthropy-induced injuries, thanks to Maya's magic especially, and you wouldn't even be able to tell anything had happened to him by looking at him. It appears he's on his way back from gathering some materials, judging by the small parcel of wood he's carrying under one arm.

They haven't met formally, but he recognizes Ochako and gives her a wave. ]

[ this is a leading question, but he doesn't dare to hope she actually has them... ]

[Oh, Ochako definitely recognizes him from the positivity party, but she's far too polite to ever mention the title he shares with Keigo. It's cool, Lupin! Kyrie enjoys ruining her day, too, and it's this sense of camaraderie that causes her to give him an extra bright smile.]

Almost everyone. Some people really hate sweets.

[Which is a wild concept to her? A sweet-less life must be dreary, and she lightly shakes her head before beginning to rummage around in her basket.]

But you must like them, so—here! [Ta-da! She holds out a small, nondescript grey pouch, inside of which he will find a few—you guessed it—colorful sugar cookies.] I hope they taste okay!

[She gives her basket a light tap, but he's not getting anything until he confirms that he's a-okay. Them's the rules.]

Hunk! I haven't seen you since— [You know what? Bringing that up is probably a bad idea, so, uh, she's just going to give him a bright smile instead of actually finishing her sentence.] A-Anyway, I have a surprise for you, if you're not too busy?

[Busy? In this town? HA. She doesn't even wait for him to say anything before she begins digging through her basket, and soon she holds out a small, grey pouch for him to grab.]

[The urge to go in for a hug so, so strong, but 1) not everyone appreciates impromptu hugs and 2) that bucket is totally in the way. She settles for a smile as she skids to a stop in front of him.]

I haven't seen you since— [Hmm, you know what? She probably shouldn't bring up the whole dying thing.] I-I mean, it's good to see you! Are you... doing okay?

[Grabbing a strand of unicorn hair doesn't sound like the most difficult thing in the world. Unicorns are like... extra fancy horses, really, and the horses Ochako has met here have all been polite, well-behaved creatures. She's positive that she and Minato can knock this quest out in record time!

So here she is, waiting for him by the edge of the forest. She is, of course, wearing her hero outfit, just in case they run into any problems, but she's all smiles when she spots him. Worries and/or concerns: zero.]

Minato-kun! I think I know where we can find what we're looking for, so let's hurry!

[There's no such thing as a leisurely stroll when you're questing with Ochako.]

It's hard to say no to Ochako, but he probably really should have--after all, he's pretty sure that he knows what the unicorn requirements are (okay, that's a lie, he doesn't know about the murder one, but that's not what matters here), and they...don't exactly favor him.

Also, he didn't really know how to tell Ochako that, so here they are, heading off into the woods. Oops.]

[Unicorns... are absolutely adorable, which is why Ochako is more than willing to do this quest over and over and over again. It's the perfect quest to do with her friends, so—ta-da! She is, as promised, standing outside Shouto's cottage at a reasonable morning hour, holding an apple in one hand as she knocks on his front door with the other.]

I'm here, Todoroki-kun! You're ready to go, right?

[God, she sounds so excited about this. RIP, Shouto.]

[I'm sorry Ochako, Shouto is very hard to wake up in the morning. But at least she's picked a reasonable time. He's actually awake and aware now.]

[Living with others can be a bit tricky, it's true, but Ochako is so, so thankful to have Maya as a roommate. It's almost like... rooming with an older sister? A really, really cool aunt? Whatever! The important thing is that Maya is great, and Ochako enjoys chatting and laughing with her they're both hanging around the house.

Laughter, however, is a little hard to come by when her roommate is hurt. Maya probably—no, definitely—needs to quietly rest for a while, Ochako can't resist swinging by to check on her.]

Maya-san? [Here is an incredibly soft knock on the door.] I'm going downstairs to make food, so I can bring you some if you're hungry?

Oh! [ There's a muffled voice through the door, followed by the rustling of sheets, because Maya sucks at actually resting quietly. ]

Food sounds great, but I can come downstairs!

[ What Guren won't know won't hurt him. ]

[True to her word, Ochako is waiting for Okuni right by the well. Or, to be precise, she's sitting on the lip of the well, kicking her legs back and forth as she stares up at the ugly grey clouds slowly drifting overhead. Who knows how long it will take her quest partner to arrive? She can only kick the dirt around for so long.

But please, Okuni, don't sneak up on her! That's probably dangerous...]
