[OPEN] june prompts and catch-all!
WHO: Emma and Open!
WHERE: All Over
WHEN: June catch-all
WHAT: Open prompts and closed! Lots of animals??
WARNINGS: n/a at the moment
OTA - A survey;
[Could this more easily be done on the forum? Yes. But Emma is putting boots to the ground and putting faces to names. She can't associate people with their hexcodes forever!
So, it doesn't matter where you are in town or what you're doing. Emma appears, old notebook held diligently in hand, and a pencil at the ready.]
Excuse me, I would like to ask a question. [Were you going to refuse this solicitor? Too late.] What's your favorite type of animal?
[Yup. That's the very serious question. She's waiting.]
OTA - on the hunt(?);
[As the Month starts an explosion of color occurs around the forest's perimeter. So many animals that were once perfectly camouflaged within the gray underbrush have burst into startling color. The sheer novelty of the sight after months of gray has piqued Emma's interest. She's usually out and about but she's exploring even more trying to identify all the new critters.
Unfortunately, the majority of colorful animals are relatively small. You may find Emma stalking after bright orange lizards sunning on rocks, OR watching bunnies from a far, OR setting up little piles of seeds to lure out the purple mice. You get the picture. The sky is the limit as more and more animals are discovered.
If the animals are ever startled away (thanks) then Emma will sprint after them, attempting to jump and catch them.]

As the bunnies make a break for it Emma manages to jump and catch one of the little ones jumping past. It kicks once or twice before freezing up, held securely in Emma's arms. Victory! A giant smile erupts on her face as she hugs the bunny.]
We got one! We got one! Thanks!
[She's running over. Look at the cute bunny! Look!]

Besides, Shiho’s actually enjoying herself, gasping in delight when she sees Emma manage to scoop up the bunny. She’s smiling for once with a genuine warmth in her eyes as Emma approaches. (It helps really that she had a soft spot for kids.)]
You’re welcome. [And now to touch the bunny, one careful hand on it.]
Good job, by the way. What are you planning to do with it anyway?

[The poor animal's tension at being held might be warranted. Emma's face is straight for all of a second before she's laughing at her own bad joke. She isn't really above eating a rabbit to stay alive but it's so cute... It's safe for now.]
I just want to take a closer look at it. I've never seen a real life bunny before, just stuffed animals.

Or so she thinks for all of a moment and then Emma’s laughing. Making a mock pout, Shiho can’t help laughing too, giving the bunny’s ears a stroke.]
You had me there for a second! ...It’s pretty cute though, isn’t it?

Thankfully, the bunny seems to be understanding that it's not facing immediate death. It twitches it head to watch Shiho as she pets.]
It really is! It almost makes me want to copy the others and keep it as a pet.
[Except she doesn't have anywhere to keep and it would probably just run back to the forest.]

Do you know how to take care of it and do you have somewhere to keep it?
